Location was very central, good facilities in and around village, including train station. Useful location for the family events we were attending.
Lovely building, high ceilings, beautifully decorated and furnished, and lots of space. Heating arrangements worked great.
When we had a problem with lack of hot water and lights not working, caused by previous occupants, the owner and Premises Manager and handyman turned up promptly and sorted it out entirely.
There are people who live upstairs, but they didn't bother us at all.

It had great leisure facilities that we took advantage of after a big bike race the previous day. There was a wedding the day we went so they moved us to another room away from the party as requested. The room was great. Super cosy and comfortable.

A perfect, pretty English village with shop, cafe, good pubs, lovely railway station, village green, river walks, history to explore. Very peaceful and relaxing. Also a nearby small animal sanctuary worth a visit.

There isn’t a lot to do there, we did a lot of driving to do what we wanted. There’s not many shops local, there’s a Tesco about a 10 minute drive away. We went for a lovely walk about 40 mins there and back, we ended up by a river and a massive bridge where the trains pass but you can also walk across. Beautiful scenery below and on top of the bridge
