The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney, Norfolk, hotel in Weybourne

Set in Blakeney, 27 km from Blickling Hall, The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney, Norfolk offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

It was in a perfect position for lots of coastal walks. Lots of lovely little touches like fresh juice & fruit in reception. The whole ambiance of the staff, food, property & gardens made for a fabulous well needed break. We could only manage 2 nights but could have happily stayed much longer.

The Dormy House Hotel, hotel in Weybourne

Nestled in the picturesque village of West Runton The Dormy House Hotel is a haven of exquisite service, unparalleled dining, and renowned Best Roast on the Coast.

Just a 5 minutes drive from Sheringham where we went for an old steam train ride, great things this hotel have their own parking space which rather spacey. Their restaurant did served a wonderful roast menu as they promised on their side walls

Lovely small village with cafe/shop, pub and church. Good base to stay to visit north Norfolk coastline. The Coasthopper bus CH1 passes through which goes to Cromer, Sheringham east and as far as Wells on Sea westward.Very friendly village. Easy walk to beach & walk to Sheringham.

Weybourne is well placed for access to the sea and coastal path. The steam railway is also only a 20 minute walk away . There is a little coffee shop opposite the Ship Inn selling papers and essentials. There is also a stop for the coastal hopper bus which offers an excellent service (about every 30 minutes when we were there) between Sheringham and Cromer. This is great for walkers.

There is not a great deal in Weybourne - a pub, a shop/cafe and the church and priory ruins. But there is an amazing beach - it's stones but reveals sand at lower tides. The water was clean and clear and although signs warn not to swim, there were lots of people in the water ! The sunset was amazing and this beach is popular but wasn't packed as such and if you walk either way from the car park you will find solitude from the crowd if you wish

It is a quiet village with a beach about 800 yds from it's centre, access to coastal walks and well situated for other towns and villages as well as several impressive estates and stately homes. A small preserved steam railway runs nearby with a station about 1 km from the village centre. It is located in an AONB.

The Ship Inn has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with modern decor throughout. it is spotlessly clean and our room was as good if not better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed in. The breakfasts were cooked to order with plenty of choice on the menu. Evening meals were also of a high standard, which was reflected in the tables being quickly booked up. Many thanks to Linton the owner and chef who welcomed your feedback. Lucy and the rest of the staff were a credit to the Ship Inn. The beach is only 10 mins walk away it is shingle but has miles to explore.

We absolutely loved the Ship Inn. It is an exquisite place to stay and they have thought of everything and so the room is both comfortable and has everything you need. The staff were wonderful, polite and always available to help. Adding to this, the food was exceptional - we enjoyed every thing we had. It is located near to many towns but it is also quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Food was excellent - the included breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and we had dinner in the pub too which was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly too and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable

Great location, just a short walk to the beach at Weybourne and the coastal path, and accessible to other coastal towns via car, bus or train. Staff very accommodating, especially regarding my food request (lactose intolerance), I was able to eat very well at breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable and a lovely en suite.
