The Bear is in the middle of a beautiful common full of wild flowers above Stroud, it was extremely convenient to the event I was attending. The hotel is lovely, staff friendly & the standard of service - amazing, I couldn't fault a thing. Would definitely use again

Just loved everything about this property.
The staff were all so kind , thoughtful and helpful . Wonderfully decorated rooms and lots of thoughtful touches . A fridge with milk and chilled bottled sparkling water. Fruit and beautiful biscuits with a great selection of teas all included. Wonderfully thick towels and fine bedding. The view out our art deco window was gorgeous . The generous breakfast was amazing and so kind encouraging guests to pack the excess up for lunch . The bistro restaurant that served lunch and dinner served great food .

I liked it that you could make your own breakfast in the morning but in unfortunately we did not take any breakfast items with us, but next time we stay we will definitely do that we only stayed one night, but the room I would recommend it to further guest
