The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely beds and crisp, clean bed linen! A short-ish (15 min) walk to the station or to Salts Mill. Reasonably priced for a room and breakfast included.

The room was very 'old worldy' and little dated but large and very comfortable. I had a family room high up in the rafters of the hotel but apart from the slightly narrow stairs iot was warm, comfortable and clean.
The staff were AMAZING!! So friendly, helpful and patient. They were a credit to the hotel and made our stay very enjoyable. The lady at reception (I wish I had taken her name) was so lovely and friendly (I told her my name was George Clooney) and we had a good laugh while she was checking me in.
