AM bargain holidays at Withernsea sands, hotel in Withernsea

AM bargain holidays at Withernsea sands is a beachfront property set in Withernsea, 29 km from Hull New Theatre and 29 km from Hull Arena. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking.

We had a lovely stay, the caravan was clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed coastal walks just 2 mins down the road. We didn't use the facilities on the site but if we had there was a club house which served food and provided entertainment, swimming and arcades.

Needed a dog friendly caravan but Gold Finch 22 was exceptionally clean and comfortable for a pet friendly stay. Great communication from our host's representative who went "the extra mile" providing a "welcome pack" with sweet biscuits & snacks, treats for us and for our dog, chews, biscuits and an ice cream toy! Several kitchen cleaning products were under the sink and there was a shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispenser in the shower (this was ensuite to double bedroom). Host provided an informative album with info about central heating etc in the caravan, places to visit in the area, restaurants and take aways.

Not where we would normally visit as close to home but we needed somewhere a short distance for a break with our ailing dog. Made happy memories. Had a lovely Indian meal from Bengal Lancer and went to Roos Arms for best Sunday lunch EVER !!!

Very expensive, not loads to do.

Very expensive, not loads to do. We went for a short break, playing on beach with kids. Good job we had games and a tv though for the evening. The takeaways were limited in choice. Easy to get around Withernsea as the main stretch is fairly small. Still… we had fun in the arcades and small play area, and wave dodging! Ellis cafe fabulous fresh tasty food but again expensive! It was nice seaside atmosphere and we made it a positive stay at the Den.

Chris is a superstar and made us feel right at home. The place was super clean and couldn’t be closer to the sea unless it was literally a boat. Couldn’t recommend more. We had an awesome relaxing time.

Small coastal seaside town, but has everything you need, lovely people. Great fish and chips, cheap too... kids loved the beach and all the usual rides, ice-creams etc. Not sure if we'll go back but great place to check out on the way to Bridlington, scarborough, whitby.

Withernsea is an ageing town but I don't see why -- it is a splendid seaside resort with plenty of potential - good local amenities - close to a clean beach - friendly locals - day time and night time entertainment - young or old there is something for everyone

Withernsea is a lovely little town.

Withernsea is a lovely little town. Not too touristy but tourist facilities are certainley available. there are some lovely cafe's and chippy's selling locally caught fish. There are several pubs and restaurants in the town also catering for various tastes. It's obvious that some money has been spent in the town in the last few years and many improvements have been made. there is a wealth of history assosiated with the town and information is clearly available. One of the few towns in the world to have an inland lighthouse which can be visited at various times the lighthouse is also a museum atributed to the locally born actress Kay Kendall. My favourite coastal town to visit
