Lovely Inn. Stylish decoration and furnishings, cosy atmosphere. Very old building full of character. Staff very friendly, literally nothing was too much trouble. Family bedroom had everything you need, bathroom had bath as well as a separate shower. Big car park and a large garden area with seating. Ending up joining in with Morris Dancing troupe who arrived… but that was our choice, not compulsory!
With stunning views of the valley and 3 acres of private grounds, this traditional Georgian country house has a delightful village setting, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

By far the big bonus about Woolverton was staying at the House of Bath. Rowena and Mike are just simply the best hosts, most welcoming and caring, nothing is too much trouble and my partner and I can't thank them enough. It was our second visit there and it gets better every time. It is also a great location from which to enjoy easy access to Bath but also the wonderful surrounding countryside.
This was a wonderful hotel, spacious, beautiful decor, so relaxing. Rowena and Mike were the perfect hosts.
Very grand and luxurious but so comfortable. The conservatory was great for evening drinks. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of choices and local products and produce.
Parts of gardens have been left to nature and it feels like walking in the countryside.
Great location for local trips, restaurants, farm shops and Bath.
We will definitely be going back.
Breakfast was excellent, good choice and plenty of it, added bonus was the weather was good so we were able to eat in the garden. Owners were friendly and attentive and after a few days felt like friends. We would go back there when next in the area. Good location with easy traveling to Bath and all surrounding areas.
The cottage was lovely, although could use some sprucing up, especially outside. Comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen!
Big fans of White Row! What a great farm shop nearby!
