I have stayed here before and Nicola and the facilities never disappoint us- the breakfast is fabulous with local produce and the room is so comfortable including the bed- usually beds elsewhere are so uncomfortable but no such problems with the Hollies and we even take out little ShihPoo with us (who is very well behaved i may add) - we always receive a warm welcome from Nicola and we are always well looked after

The location was central. The property suited the reasons for out visit to the City. We could suit our own schedule, meal times and styles. Please note, we did not touch the large bedroom nor anything in it.

I was very disappointed with Wrexham.
I was very disappointed with Wrexham. Many empty shops and most car parks payable by app only. I visited St Mary's Cathedral and had a warm welcome from staff there. This was the high point of a disappointing visit. Unlikely to visit again

We were visiting family who live close to Wrexham, we did not visit around the town as we have done that on previous visits. We have tried a number of reasonably priced accommodations in the Wrexham are, but on both occasions have had disturbed stays due to noisy local residents. If you are visiting Wrexham and not partaking in the extremely loud night life or venues then you will need to avoid the town area and move out beyond the town boundary in order to find a quieter accommodation.

Town Centre was fun to explore, especially on market days. The city has a variety of grocery & other retail stores, as well as many restaurants & entertainment options. It offers access via roadways to other parts of North Wales and Cheshire & Shropshire in England.

Good pedestrianised town centre area, fantastic indoor bus station with a brilliant regular bus service, and the railway station nearby too makes it very easy to get around, with buses every 30 minutes to Llangollen and even more frequently to Chester. Buses are reasonably priced. Little to do in Wrecsam itself. Erddig Park National Trust is on the edge of the town.

Location in busy street, main car park reached through a tight gap only just big enough to get through, great for overnight accommodation food great staff great , room slightly on small side but very clean and comfortable
This is our 3rd visit. Staff are wonderful, food is delicious and plentiful, well stocked bar, great location near to country parks. The is a great area to walk dogs directly behind the hotel. We are made to feel like valued customers and we feel at home here. The staff and managers are clearly dog lovers hence the fact that not only was our puppy welcomed but she was made a fuss of by everyone.
The area was quite calm, no cars.and a real dip into the countryside.
The Cottage was functional, great value for money and has most facilities you could need.
The heating works well, and the shower was fantastic.
The hosts go out of their way, to ensure you stay is perfect. They proved themselves very helpful and approachable.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, very clean everywhere, food was delicious. The bed was comfortable. The shower room had a large walk-in shower and was very clean. Close to the town centre, with excellent glazing so you can't hear the outside noise. Would definitely want to stay again.
Perfect location and parking. Great cleanliness (vital in the pandemic). Crucially, an ideal place to stay with our toddler, providing us with the amenities and space that we needed that we simply wouldn't have got at a hotel. Thank you so much!
A good Ramada hotel. Rooms were all clean and it was easy to access from the motorway. Not at all noisy and a good place to stay near Wrexham/Carden Park. Lots of parking, with charge points available. Would happily stay again.
The whole experience at Hollies was amazing! We was so amazed by the property. The owners was so helpful & kind and the food was perfect! Honestly the place you need to stay if you are looking for somewhere in the area.
Stayed here before and was ok for work trips but now a migration hotel with no heating!!! 16th Oct 23
