Very small, historic town, very olde world, friendly people, not over burdened with gift shops, lots of pubs in a small area. Most offering good traditional cooking. Like the castle, it's small but well kept. If you like fish and chips, they are wonderful from the blue crab.
Best pub, wheatshief, friendly, good beer, good food and dog friendly.

Yarmouth has a good hotel and some great restaurants.
Yarmouth has a good hotel and some great restaurants. It is a ferry port for a rail-connected ferry to the mainland of England and has a good bus service to other parts of the Isle of Wight. It is surrounded by countryside with some good walks and pleasant beaches.

Lovely little town with great hotels, inns, restaurants and shops. Handy for sailing and boating people, but for landlubbers like me, too, with ferry from Lymington right in the town. Buses take you all over the island from the handy bus station. Lots of good walks.

Lovely little place. Great local facilities.
Lovely little place. Great local facilities. Easy access by road to rest of island. Beautiful coastal walks and interesting local history, especially Yarmouth Castle and Fort Victoria. Stunning sunsets from the pier
Solenta is located in an ideal spot for exploring the island by foot or car. Just minutes walk from Yarmouth harbour it is great if visiting via ferry. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Each room is huge and the beds are soo comfortable. The owner is easy to reach and for our stay went over and above to make our stay special.
The views are spectacular and the garden is well kept and lovely.
We will most definitely be back!
Friendly and responsive staff. Great location - close to Yarmouth ferry terminal and easy to reach West Wight attractions by car. Lucky to have had a bungalow next to the car park - very convenient. Bungalow size was just right for our family. Comfy beds. Good Wifi. Good shower power. Kitchen good enough for self-catering. Nice to have a Nespresso coffee machine. Had a quiet and comfortable stay.
Location is excellent with some of the Island's best walks and scenery on the doorstep, the best beaches a couple of miles to the south and the creek just to the north. On a main bus route to Newport and the Yarmouth ferry.
Right next to the Alpacas with views of the alpacas from the window.
Immaculately clean.
Most gracious host.
The ladies on reception, during breakfast and our housekeeper were so lovely and friendly. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was lovely and clean.
Location great for seeing Yarmouth, lovely walks and near the ferry from Lymington.
The owner is very welcoming and accommodating person. The house itself is very spacious and has everything we wanted. Location is amazing with few steps away from a very relaxing walk by the sea. Yarmouth is around 10mins walking away.
A very comfortable apartment in the centre of Yarmouth - close to the Ferry Terminal and marina. Lovely well equipped kitchen for those self catering. Very clean and well-maintained. Perfect for two or three nights.
