    Friendly, safe town.

Friendly, safe town. I walked from Wli Waterfall Inn to the village. Met some very bright and friendly children. They took me to visit the school (it was on a Sunday) and had a nice chat with one of the teachers. Reasonable prices for clothing and gifts at the Falls gift store (at the entrance). Paid for a guide to walk me to the falls area and then spent the day there on my own with a packed lunch and then walked back. Great vibe.

Nice quiet town but it seemed the only place to eat was the hotel restaurant. The road leading there isn't the best but so is a lot of the road in the country. We only did the long hike to the Agamatsa (Wli) falls which was worth it for the view of the town and mountain range we got. There's the Likpe caves which is close and the Afadjato which you need to get to by taxi. It's also a border town so you could easily take a stroll to the Togolese border town of Yikpa.

Near the waterfall the choice of information is very limited. The Wli Waterfall Resort is a clean and simple accommodation with wonderfully friendly staff. If you want to visit the waterfall and Monkeys Santuary, which is about 30 minutes away, you will need a maximum of three nights.
