This hotel creates a warm atmosphere with its familiar and friendly staff. The breakfast is varied and great. The rooms are cozy with a little kitchen. The view over the Disko Bay is every morning different depended on the morning light. If we come back to Greenland, we will be back here in the hotel immediately.

The location of the hotel and the view from the restaurant was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

The view was stunning, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was terrific (although the choices were limited--only a choice of 2 entrees.)

Bent, the owner, is very caring, there is plenty of food for breakfast. Kitchen fully equipped, supermarket very close by, so possible to make a decent meal. Walkable distance to the Icefjord center and to the center. There are 3 rooms (maybe 4?) that share a nicy furnished living room and the kitchen.

Hotel Nordlys is in the village of Rode Bay and provides simple, modern rooms and a shared kitchen.
