Apart from the initial disinterested greeting by the night man the staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities look like they could be good, but I was the only guest and I felt like I was staying in a hotel that was actually closed.

The staff is truly wonderful and happy to help you with whatever you can think of, which made our stay very nice. The garden of the resort is a beautiful place and offers a very nice place if you like to see some animals, as it attracts a lot of fauna being a very green and well-plantend place in the area. If you visit Gambia to watch birds and if you are looking for a quiet place to spend some relaxed days and watch birds in the garden and around the property, this is a perfect place. For people keen on birding: we were surprised by a fly-by through the garden of a Standard-winged Nightjar while relaxing in front of our room, which indicates the value of this place for nice birds. In the evening, these birds are often present on the property and can be easily seen on the path. Besides this stunning species, lots of common and less common birds can be observed in the garden, starting with a nice view on the garden while having breakfast.

We felt so relaxed when we were there. What a wonderful place to spend time, quiet and bright and green and peaceful. Comfortable places to sit, comfortable beds, a nice little pool, a great range of breakfast options and other food available (though I wish there was more chocolate!). But, best of all, were the staff. All the people who were there day to day were great, went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and safe. Sarah was amazing - we had to move there after another hotel didn't work out, and we were stressed and one of us in tears, and Sarah accommodated us so late at night and was just absolutely everything we needed.

A peaceful place just 10 minutes from a quiet, beautiful beach. The place is run by Renate who is great to talk to and can advise you about onward travels as well as local life. The huts are clean and have a private bathroom, there is plenty of space to sit outside. Best of all is the breakfast in the morning with fruit, oats, bread, eggs and even cheese . I highly recommend this place.
