Amazing staff! Everybody went over and beyond to make sure we had an awesome stay (we did). Special mention to Laurent who manages breakfast and is absolutely amazing, as well as Stephanie and Bianca at the reception desk.
The hotel is very quiet and only has a few rooms. We didn't see any kid, which added to the feeling of quietness.

Saint Francois has hidden restaurant gems, including some that are not listed on any app but deserve to be recognized.
Special mention to L'Autre Version, which has been totally renovated, is under new management, and has an amazing menu and wine list.
On the negative side, Saint Francois needs to have its roads renovated and add more parking spots.

Enjoyed the fact that it was not a big crowded resort- 8 bungalows and 3 apartments in the main building meant small amount of guests; safe, gated enviroment where privacy and laid back, leisurely passtime was possible. Only drawback, for those who are beach lovers,, the best beach was at the village of St. Anne, about 15-20 minutes drive away, but worth the drive! However, a short drive into Saint-Francois where there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from.
Beware! if you are driving, the locals tend to drive extremely fast on the very narrow and pot hole roads !

Unfortunately much of what St-Francois and Ste-Anne had to offer is lost as a result of all the sargasse seaweed that comes to shore. The smell is horrendous and completely ruined the south and east sides of Grande-Terre. Recommend avoiding.

We loved our location away from traffic and noise.
We loved our location away from traffic and noise. Saint Francois has everything we needed including easy access to the rest of the island of Grande Terre. Lovely restaurants on the marina and nightlife if that's what you want. It is very close to Pointe du Chateau, the easternmost tip of the island which was magnificent and worth the trip.

We have visited St. Francois 3 times and keep coming back.
We have visited St. Francois 3 times and keep coming back. Although the town is not too large it has plenty of restaurants and boats to the other islands run daily. We hire a car but you could get away with a taxi to/from the airport (35km) and the occasional local bus trip.
Wonderful place. We will be back and will definitely book there again because we’d like to share it with family who couldn’t make this trip. We traveled all over Grande-Terre, exploring the sights, and I feel this was the best part of the island and just a wonderful hotel. I wish we’d had more time! We would have just hung around our bungalow and the pool more, using her grill to cook dinner, etc. Next time we’ll make a point of relaxing more. It’s our new home away from home.
A superb boutique style hotel. Fabulous views of the sea and an incredible infinity pool - an awesome way to start and finish the day. Super friendly staff who really took the time to assist with trip recommendations & restaurant bookings. We can also highly recommend the breakfast - delicious! We will not hesitate to recommend your hotel to anyone we knew who is planning a trip to Guadeloupe. We wish the owners and all the staff a fantastic season - you absolutely deserve it!
Breakfast was not included, which we clearly understood. We enjoyed dining at the marina, many choices in Sainte-Francois SEASIDE RESTAURANT, hooked us up with NFL game, so we could watch the 49ers! Some of the best fresh grilled fish, mango sorbet, beautiful beaches (like Hawaii). Parking a challenge, managed tho. Deshaies one of our favorite places, love the show, Death in Paradise, lunch at Catherine’s bar!
Wonderful property, well located, close to St François, and all facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and roads to access to the Grande Terre.
The villa is very clean, well equipped, benefiting from nice swimming pool and vast jacuzzi.
The garden is very green, well maintained and you have the impression to be isolated and protected in heaven with the two terraces.
Very clean, well maintained by Sandrine.
There was a nice variety offered at breakfast; baked goods and fruit were fresh; hosts were accommodating with breakfast times. During breakfast our personable host Yanick would give us wonderful suggestions of places to visit and things to do on the island. We felt welcomed and safe in their beautiful accommodations and Yanick had a list of restaurant suggestions and took care of making reservations for us.
The hotel is a total disaster .
There was no food and the cook disappeared
There was building going on so constant noise and no mention of this when I booked or compensation
The hotel allows locals to descend on the property and there is no space left for guests - so I often had to just stay in my room or on the small balcony.
The owner is rude and unwilling to compensate
This studio was perfectly equipped and decorated and one of only a handful to benefit from extra space in the balcony. Katia was amazing from start to finish, so helpful and attentive. The resort is beautiful and the fact that it is not a running hotel did not bother us at all. There is still a manned pool, restaurant and a few shops on site. Excellent value for money
fantastic layout villa inside an impressive nice building with a nice big terrace., air conditioners in all rooms, personal touch when we arrived by host. Ideal location when you travel with 2 couples (4 people), restaurant on a small nice beach, parking not a problem in this residential park with a lovely swimming pool. Close to Sant Francois and Saint Anna
The suites was extremely comfortable and spacious with a great equipped outdoor kitchen, an outdoor balcony plus an out door private sitting area. The garden and vegetation were beautiful ensuring privacy and contributing to the aesthetics of the place. Best were the hosts who took such warm and friendly care of us with providing us with wonderful tips.
Marie and Matthieu are wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and super helpful with tips about Guadeloupe and excursions. The pool is great and the room is very well kept. The location is quiet, however close to amenities and restaurants. You'll need a car to visit the area.
The accommodations were exactly as pictured. As a solo traveler, it was the perfect size. The location was easy to get around Saint Francois. I felt safe. The host and Brigitte were extremely helpful and great communicating. Any concerns or needs were promotly addressed.
Great apartment in a quiet road of St Francois. Stable internet and enough space to work. Small beach and restaurants in 5min walking distance. It's a place to feel at home immediately.
We loved the place and the town!
Very clean and modern facilities. Hosts are amazing people with lots of very good recommendations. Looks exactly like the pictures. It’s well situated close to very nice beaches and exquisite restaurants.
Beautiful, clean, well-equipped, with cheerful staff. Visitors of different backgrounds (mostly French like Guadeloupe, or multilingual). Equal to my best-ever hostel in Montreal (Canada).
very comfortable, fun place to spend vacation. there is a marina 10 minutes boat ride (dinghy provided) with plenty of restaurants, market place. Frank is very helpful and nice.
It’s well situated not far from Saint François. The beach and the pool are close. There is guard on duty day and night. There’s a nice restaurant on the property.
Probably one of the best hostel around the globe and for sure the best hostel in Guadeloupe. ...btw: the interim hosts Philippe and Matéo did an amazing job :-)
Absolutely perfect. Fully equipped apartment. Great view. Hosts extremely welcoming and helpful. Perfect location, close to beaches and Saint François.
