Incredible hospitality, delicious breakfast that varied every day, and such friendly space. They were so welcoming and knowledgeable, and were pet friendly which was a huge bonus. (They loved our dog, and she loved them)
Vikos Hotel is a traditional, stone property located in Monodendri Village. It offers rooms with hydromassage shower cabins, and a snack bar that serves local, handmade delicacies.
Great hotel clean and has an awesome view.
The breakfast is great and healthy, the food also at the restaurant is great pricy though but worth it!
The room is comfortable the heating is great and the wellness center is a must to visit and book a massage.
A car is a must to be able to go around as most sightseeing destinations and activity are far away.

This is a superb base for exploring Zagori.
This is a superb base for exploring Zagori. It is easily accessible from Ioannina and very much a 'hub' from which you can choose which area of Zagori you want to visit. The Resort is extremely well designed with rooms in dispersed small groups, and has every facility you may need - pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. The buildings blend into the surroundings and we were serenaded by Nightingales with stunning views over the mountains. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with coffee maker, kettle, bottled water and fridge. Beds are comfortable and the nights quiet. They are also well designed for winter with large radiators and open fires. There is very helpful information about suggested itineraries and the Resort can organise guided expeditions - photography, fishing, Meteora etc. The staff are welcoming and the food is well beyond expectation, with original dishes using locally produced ingredients - truly 5 Star dining.

This is a small village, as there are not so many things to see or do there. Just a couple of restaurants near the village's square and one mini market. The best thing is the location, as you can easily reach other villages and famous locations from there (Papigko, Vikos ridge, Voidomatis river) or even travel to the Central Zagori. The view of the mountains is stunning!

Aristi is a nice village in the mountains surrounding the vikos gorge. It is a wonderful starting point for many nature attractions. Specifically - the Voidomatis river (which is just below the village and can be reached by 5 minutes drive from the village), water pools (which requires driving to the nearby village of papigko), the vikos gorge itself (15 minutes drive from the village).
Aristi is also a good starting point to visit nearby villages in the area.
The only thing you should be aware of is that some of the roads that connect these villages can be a little scary to drive due to steep slopes, and high road edges. This is not something specific to Aristi - all zagori villages have this kind of roads..

Loved this Hotel The Arhontiko in Aristi village the village is of all stone homes and hotels and the Hotel has stunning views it was perfectly located near a restaurant and a mini market and was easily accessible to all the other beautiful Zagorohoria Villages.. The Hotel itself was beautifully decorated in Ethnic Decor the room we had was very village looking with stone wall’s beautiful ethnic furniture and rugs and stunning views a fireplace and a very comfortable bed!! The Breakfast was amazing!!!!!!!!!!
An ancient hotel established inside a house built in the village in 1804. The emphasis in the hotel is on preservation and the room is a very close copy of the original room. The doors are low since the residents at that time were short, you have to be careful about your head when passing through.
Wonderful staff, welcoming, smiling, helpful in everything, exemplary service.
Breathtaking view from the rooms and the dining room. A real experience to stay there.
Good and tasty breakfast.
The guys at the reception are amazing. They are so welcoming and chatty, we loved talking to them. They helped us book activities and choose hiking routes with a smile.
Breakfast was perfect. Tons of different food, we loved everything.
Room was huge and very comfortable and homey, bed was especially great.
Location is at Aristi which is the optimal starting point for day trips. The village also have excellent restaurants for dinner.
Fantastic location and settimg. Located in a quite village, st the end of a dead end road. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from a vikos gorge view point and one minute walk from the trail head to voidomatis springs and to vikos gorge. Parking is no issue.
Great price.
Owner, Kristos, and staff are as friendly, knowledgable and helpful as one can only hope to find.

The experience of staying at this boutique hotel for the three nights we stayed there was perfect.
The experience was perfect thanks to George, the manager of the place, who always made sure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable, the decorated rooms are spacious, quiet and very pleasant.
Thank you very much and highly recommended
Great hotel in a small village in the mountain. Close to lots of outdoor activities. Great breakfast with a superb view from the balcony. Friendly staff providing an excellent service. Walking distance from a few good restaurants. Overall, excellent place to spend a few days exploring the surroundings.
The location was excellent. Great breakfast, before we got there I let the hotel know I'm vegan, and they took special care of me. Kostas hosted us generously and was available for every need. The hotel organizes extreme activists, We booked the rafting with them and it was absolutely amazing.
A lovely hotel in the village of Aristi. Good buffet breakfast , comfy beds, excellent shower , nice view of the hills. Helpful staff who advised on what to see in the area . A few minutes walk into village with 2 tavernas serving excellent food . We prefered ''To Aristi '' tavern
Yorgos was exceptionally nice, helpful and involved. He helped us plan our days, even after we left the hotel.
The place is designed in a clean warm style . Everything is super clean, and breakfast is great with homemade local pastries.
We highly recommend this hotel!
The staff is super friendly with a lot of advices. The location of the establishment is close to a lot of things to do and if you're staying for more than a couple of days there's a tone of activities that you can find in the hotel. Definitely will be going back.
