Benitses is a great place to stay at during vacation.
Benitses is a great place to stay at during vacation. Village is small and everything is located in one small center: Tavernas and restaurants, markets, souvenir shops, cofee shop, bus station... There are no modern buildings to ruin the look of fishing village and people are very kind, everyone I talked to knew English at least well enough to buy/sell stuff or order food. It has small beaches that are clean with clean water. The beach isn't upto much. They wanted €12 for beds in some places, where beaches in the south were so much better and between €7-10 There is a good bus service to Corfu town. We didn't have a bad meal during our trip plenty of places to try.SarahUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Benitses is a small village, but has a lot of taverns, small park and several souvenir shops. Beaches are not the best I have seen. My trip Was a short one, so I haven't had time to go around, but I'm sure great beaches could be find in the island. Corfu is full of olive trees, and vegetation in general is flourishing all over the place. There is a public transportation, but I did not use it, personally I prefer individual transportation, a car. The Town of Corfu is magnificent. A must visit and spend some time there.

Most of the apartments and restaurants lie directly on the main road, so it's a very noisy place. There are some nice places, but many houses are in a very bad state with garbage in the garden and even on the streets. The sea is beatiful, but the overall bad state is shocking.LelleHungary

The room had everything you'd need, amazingly comfortable and in a great location to explore the south and western part of the island but also close enough to the town center and airport without having the traffic and bustling noise. The owners were the most kind and hospitable people you'll ever meet, they even gave us some homemade apple pie. If I'm ever back in Corfu I'll know where to stay.

Location of villa is about 15 minutes walk from restaurants in benitses . We didn’t have a car so we walked everywhere . Also at bottom of hill (5mins walk) we also got on bus to corfu town . Alexander the host was so helpful from the moment we arrived which made us feel at ease .

Athena and her team took great care of us and ensured that our room is cleaned every day. She gave us lots of tips and info about the area and Corfu and we had some great trips around.
