Simple barn conversion studio apartment in a stunning spot right by a tranquil bay, shaded by tamarisk trees. Friendly staff and a nice taverna. Perfect for complete relaxation. We’d seen these rooms on previous visits to Frangkocastello and felt lucky to find availability for our brief 2 night stay. The studios weren’t amazingly modern but were comfortable and had everything we needed, and we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this cute, Traditional but super cosy hotel and would certainly stay again for longer. Its convenient for the beach, peaceful and the staff super friendly, with the option of a wonderful breakfast a real bonus. It also has access to a lovely cosy peaceful beach with crystal clear sea with a seperate relaxed family beach bar ( NOT the noisy loud music kind ) that has occasional live music nights and the sunbeds are FREE for hotel guests. A complete chillout place, perfect for complete relaxation and we have now added this place to our favourites!

We had a gorgeous view of the beach and the sea from our balcony. Artemis and Michaelis, the owners, were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious. All cooked by Artemis’s mum, Maria. We stayed three nights and ate there twice. It’s a good place to stay if you want to walk Imbros Gorge which is less than 10k away. There is also a supermarket and a great bakery/cafe just across the road.

Located right on the sandy beach of Frangokastello, Studios Stavris features a garden, a sun terrace and a snack bar.

Off season it was a dream. Quiet, beautiful, close to a really good restaurant. Lovely beach to walk along . Sleeping to the sound of the waves. Great location and scenery. Amazing value for money. It may be that in the heat of summer some of these good things suffer but in early May it was magical and we will hope to return off season next year.

Big apartment with amazing view, loved the terraces and that it was so close to the beach. Also loved that there were insect screens. Very calm town, fairly secluded but still had taverns and supermarket, so everything needed.

Lovely family run accommodation and restaurant in a beautiful location. We have stayed here a number of times and will keep coming back. Friendly, generous hosts and staff.

Set amidst lush gardens, the family-run Oasis Apartments is located in Fragkokastelo of Chania, just 50 metres from the beach.

There was easy access to a very quiet and very nice beach. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good. There was a great sunset view from the balcony.
