the room was one of the cleanest I've stayed. it was smelling like a rose during the whole accomodation. I have never seen something like that. the location was very peacefull,a little outside of the center,10-15 mins. the hosts were very friendly,having let as a gift a local wine and a local vase of marmalade. the extra thing was that the host had let a bowl of apricots in our table,which had gathered by him/herself. you barely would see them,but you always knew they were there,if anything was needed. great value of money!easily could be the double amount.

Very clean and spacious with a beautiful vista of olive trees gardens and a scattering of lovely buildings and a church. Halarabos was a fantastic host. Worth paying for breakfast as it's home cooked and high end restaurant brunch quality. We had a puncture on the hire car when we arrived, and Halarabos pumped the tyre and was very extremely helpful in ringing and taking us to a local garage to get it fixed. It saved what could have been a logistical nightmare on an island. On top of this he has a lovely cat and 4 super cut kittens!!!, one of them named "Ziggy" mad cat lady travelling companion.

The location is quite good, in land, about a 5 min drive from Livadi, and about 10 min from the Chora & 15min from Kapsali port & beach. The distance to the airport and/or to the ferry port is about 30 to 35 min. The property is new, so everything is updated, and they have all kind of perks (Netflix connection, music player, ceiling fan, clothes washer, etc). The room is on the small size and the wardrobe built around the head of the bed requires a bit of adjusting when getting in and out of the bed, but the bathroom has a generous size and a large shower. Everything one needs for a short or long stay is there, and the place is airy, with a nice outdoor seating area and views over the hilly Kythira inlands. Definitely, we'll go back when visiting Kythira.

Fantastic location on the island. Chora is a very picturesque village and the room is very conveniently located in a quiet street. The room has everything you need and Christos and his sister Ioanna added some very nice touches and gifts!
