The house does exactly what promised. It is a house at the village central square, it was clean and could accomodate 6 persons and a baby with ease. In general for it's price, it's a real gem. The high population of storks in that time of the year was a bonus !

Really nicely done with comfy bed, kitchenette, obviously ensuite, and plenty of space. It was also very clean. The surroundings are nice and you are very close to the lake - although you need to walk down the road that runs alongside the lake to get to it. The lady who effectively runs it day-to-day, Vasileia is brilliant. You're also quite close to the village of Kerkini (5 min drive) where there are several good tavernas and a decent mini-super market + cafe.

House Nr 1 looks to be newly renovated and well decorated making the house very cozy and homey. The kitchen was a great feature and there were even supplies for coffee and tea. The location is quiet, has covered parking, and is close to the Mandraki port for taking boat tours on the lake. The host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the nice stay!

Very close to Kerkini lake and I strongly recommend to visit the lake by boat. The host recommended us places to eat, to buy groceries and to hire the boat. It was a very nice surprise what we thought it will be just transit accommodation. We will definitely return!

If you want to see rural Greece, this is one of the best place, with Kerkini Lake close, where you can have a boat trip, or, if you want, you can ride a horse in nature. By the way, you are surrounded by farm animals. It’s a working farm that also rents out rooms.
