Incredible hospitality, delicious breakfast that varied every day, and such friendly space. They were so welcoming and knowledgeable, and were pet friendly which was a huge bonus. (They loved our dog, and she loved them)

A small hotel in a small village where only a few people live. Very nice. Sometimes the restaurant is closed, but ask the manager if she can cook you a standard Greek meal. For me she did, and it was great.

Kipoi is a very quaint little village with 2-3 restaurants and thats it. It was easily accessible to the Zagori region close to the most famous bridges and main towns and the unbelievable Vikos Gorge which you have to visit, we went to the Óxya viewpoint which was amazing . A very beautiful area to visit but a very long drive from Athens especially if you come on one of the smaller roads, rather use the highway to get to the area then adventure around, we took a small road and spent half a day driving through forests with nothing to see. The map of Zagori that the hotel gave us was a great help
Monodendri is one of the larger villages worth visiting - if you like to hike take your time and follow the tails that range from 1 to 5 or so km from the various bridges it is so peaceful and the forest beautiful. Once you have seen the top 5-6 bridges and 2-3 villages it all becomes the same so don't stay too long if you aren't walking. Beware...... not all villages have fuel so don't run too low

So much history, special features to see and spectacular...
So much history, special features to see and spectacular scenery. Lots of curvy roads which take longer but give the best views. Vikos Gorge and the stone forest were very special. Two and a half days not long enough.
Machalas is situated at a gorgeous location overlooking the traditional village of Kipoi and next to the rived bed. It is a group of stone-made villas with extreme attention to detail and traditional architecture. It is ideally located next to trails, gorges, rivers, and the network of the Zagori villages. The rooms are spatious. The breakfast doesn't have big a big variety but it makes up for the quality of the products offered, especially the locally sourced cream cheese!
Peaceful, nice, clean and cozy hotel.
The host was very friendly and he was willing to give us some guidance hints for our tour at Zagorochoria.
What I liked the most was the espresso machine with some free Nespresso capsules inside our room.
The breakfast was tasty and had many options.
In my opinion these little things makes the difference from good to excellent.
Best of all first: the owner George the nicest person we met during our journey. He was so generous providing all the information about the area and highlights. The hotel is very nice, authentic, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious with a big variety of fresh and local food. all in all a perfect stay.
The airport transfer, wellness centre and spa, the restaurant, all were incredibly convenient. The restaurant offered delectable lunch experiences. With free parking and superb room service, the hotel's amenities were the best. Added bonus: complimentary Wi-Fi. A truly satisfying experience in every way.
The location is great, by the road and the minimarket. No steep climbing after a long day's hiking! Taverna opposite. Very quiet. Big rooms. The jacuzzi bath was amazing! A path by the hotel is a lovely leafy walk by the river to two of the most beautiful stone bridges.
Very unique hotel, it was really a pleasure to stay and enjoy the worm and kind hospitality of George, the owner, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was homey and tasty,George gave us detailed explanations about the area, we will surely be back
Great staff, good breakfast and beautiful views from the hotel. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. The bathroom was nicely curated. lots of closet space for clothing. The hotel dog named Leon is very friendly and we loved meeting him.
Stavros and Valentina who are in charge on the whole location are amazing and helped us a lot.
They are happy to give recommendation and they are great hosts.
The view of the hotel is amazing! And kipoi is a great small town to travel.
The location in the old village is amazing. George the owner was wonderful. Helped us with everything in the hotel, and with arranging tours in the area. Will return ASAP. Make sure you stay for at least 2-3 nights!
Spacious rooms and a cute indoor garden where you can chill and meet fallow travelers. The hotel is centrally located, with convenient access and the Tavern right next door makes everything nice and easy :)

Pleasant and very cosy house. Enough space for three persons. Terrace, parking place and good Wi-Fi. What do you need more? We were very satisfied. In Kipoi there is a restaurant and shop.
