Things we like ✅
●Location is great! 20 minute walk from the harbour, right opposite the marina, close to Old Town and 5 minutes if that to paradise beach.
●Fabulous breakfast. Lots to choose from. During our stay (1 week), this diminished every day. By the last day, it was very poor. No coffee, no juice, lacking in bread, eggs and jams. Condiments were often empty. When asked why and for more, the male older member of staff just said 'it is cheap, it is finished'.
●Free air con. However, room gets VERY warm as there is no window. Guess this is why air con is included.
●Acceptable for a short stay.

The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see.
Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
We are a family of six and our kids are from 7 - 17 years old and they all really enjoyed the hotel. The food was surprisingly good for all inclusive and there was plenty of choice every day. We also had no problem getting sun loungers at the pool even on days we were up a bit later. The staff were really friendly and the entertainment was fun in the evenings. There is a bus stop that goes to Kos town which takes 10 minutes. You can book car hire from the hotel and they drop it to the hotel for you which was handy.
Excellent location at walking distance of old-town and the harbor. The beds and mattress were decent and cleaning was done daily. The roof-top swimming pool is very nice and they offer free towels! The general staff and cleaning staff are friendly and do their best. The air-conditioning in the room was working perfectly. Breakfast was okay for Greece and had good choices. Despite the outdated hotel, we had a great holiday in Kos. Looking at the price-quality of this accomodation it is still a good deal...in Kos.
We chose White Pearls because it was a small, adults-only boutique beach side resort. It delivered on its promise. The resort itself is beautifully designed. We loved the landscaping, pool, pool bar and the beach and the location close to Kos town. We had a comfortable, beautifully furnished suite. Breakfast was a la cart and very generous and tasty. The staff and service were amazing! Many thanks to Nomi and Angeliki and everyone else for making our stay special. We’ll be surely back.
Excellent simple traditional hotel close to the centre of Kos town but quiet at night. I reckon the simplicity and humane friendly service is worth more than multi star spots round the corner. A good basic stopover for ferry hopping or yachties. Would be lovely with kids too as it's a short walk to the beach but not a sausage and chips seaside joint. A bit 1980s and all the better for it. We stayed one night and (against all expectations) would have happily stayed longer.
Our stay was much more pleasant than we expected!
The hotel is really nice and it's garden is a hidden gem. We've got an upgraded room with a view to the pool. It's a bit far from the city centre (~30 minutes walk), however there were nice beaches, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. You can also rent a bike and explore the city of Kos, the staff will help you with that.
All the staff members were incredibly helpful and kind, big plus for them :)
We had the most perfect stay at Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa. Beautiful place, really nice and helpful staff, and an amazing animation team. All inclusive food from the restaurant was really good, and we also enjoyed the nice snacks and crepes from the snack bar a lot. The possibility to book a cabana at the pool side was an extra bonus. We will for sure come back!
This new-ish hotel is situated centrally and is run like a finely-oiled machine by the meticulous Georgios and the effervescent Maria. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with big balconies. The staff are efficient and friendly. A great choice for a stay in Kos Town. We will be back! xx
We were given room 124 which had a huge terrace area. Bed was huge and extremely comfortable. This is our third hotel in Greece and The air con was the best we have had. The location is also fantastic
Special mention to the staff who were incredibly helpful and friendly
The 1 bed apartment we stayed in was of good size and well refurbished. The location is central with beach, attractions and food places (incl. supermarkets) within walking distance. Staff was helpful. Definitely recommended if you want to stay in Kos town.
The location is great, the views are stunning, it's right in the centre of Kos town, the staff are nice and the breakfast food is fresh and varied.
The hotel gas a modern vibe and the rooms are cleaned daily.
He food in the restaurant is very good!
The location was amazing, only 2 minutes walk into the centre of Kos town. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The kitchen facilities were perfect just what we needed. Everything was super clean too.
It was a walking distance from everything in Kos Town, and located in a quiet neighbourhood.
For a single bed room apartment, it apartment had quite a big space to live in.
The owner was really really nice!
We enjoyed everything as usual in this hotel we gave stayed multiple times over the years all staff wer brilliant cleaning lady and reception staff all great
Breakfast was from the menu besides instant coffee or black tea bags only, coffee options should be more in Greece when people are fan of coffee varieties
