One of my favorite spots in Greece. A beatiful little mountain town at the slopes of the Olympus mountain. Great small hotels and restaurants and endless trails to walk in the Olympus Mountain within a walking distanace.

if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to...
if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to Prionia and hike from there. If you climb from the beginning , there is not much to see. on the way and you will get exhausted after 4 km since the trails are quite stepp with sharp rock.

The ambiance of the village is amazing, the views of ocean and mountains alike are unmatched. We probably would have stayed one more night as we didn't even get to the beaches but just had time to hike Mt. Olympus. STAYED IN 1 ROOM FOR THREE OCCUPANTS FOR ONE NIGHT. IT WAS TOO TIGHTLY FITTED WITH FURNITURE, NOT MUCH ROOM TO MOVE THEREAFTER. OTHERWISE CLEAN, HOT WATER AVAILABLE, KETTLE AND EXTRA BLANKETS PROVIDED PROMPTLY ON REQUEST. BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS AND FRESH AT $7 PP. VEIWS: EXCELLENT VEHICLE ACCESS; IN FRONT OF THE ROOMS RECEPTION; ATTENDED SMILING AND HELPFUL OVERALL A PLEASANT STAY. CLOSE TO ROYAL NECROPOLIS: WORTH A VISIT DION ACHEOLOGICAL SITE: NOT MUCH DIFFERENT TO OTHER SITES.

The rooms are spacious and cozy, they are nicely decorated and equipped with all necessary appliances for the stay. The location is close enough to the city center and the mount Olympus tracks, yet far enough so you won't hear the noise. Dont forget to ask for the home made Greek cuisine breakfast. Without a doubt, agreed by all family members, the best breakfast we had in Greece. The owner was a mountain climbing guide, so he has good tips for those who are going to the tracks in the areaSHAYIsrael

The hotel is quiet and the free WiFi strong. The breakfast was fantastic: yogurt with several jam choices and honey, dried fruit, pastries, 3 kinds of bread, cereal, coffee & juice, cheese, ham, eggs & sausage. What a view from the DR patio! I suggest splurging for the suite with the view (pics included here). This was the perfect respite after hiking Olympus.

The kind and warm welcome from the owners, the attention put in all the details, the beautiful room, the delightful terrace and the incredible breakfast. The owners use high quality ingredients only and everything is home made. The cheesecake was the best I have ever had! I can’t hide my enthusiasm and I almost feel it should stay a secret, but it deserves to be shared. This place is a gem!
