The location is great, walking distance from the castle and the city centre - plus a couple of km from the Voidokilia Beach and Fortress. The house has two floors, it's very well equipped and high standard. Very nice experience. The sea-view is quite controversial but I didn't mind as we could stage Romeo & Juliet instead ;)

It is so close to the square with a lot of markets and shops. The apartment is so clean and cozy with everything you need. Host is an amazing and kind guy who is willing to give you all the information you need for the area. Everything was perfect and clean. The apartment has all needed amenities for great and comfortable stay. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed Pylos - beautiful area with some lovely beaches. We were just unlucky with the property we chose.
Also a lot to see in the area - Methoni for example is worth a trip.
Pylos also has plenty of decent restaurants.

Pylos is a bit different than some Greek resorts that I have stayed at in so much that it is a Greek town that caters for tourism, rather than a tourist resort. Its a working town that retains its population with a marina, hardware shops and the like. Most of the people you meet are Greek as apposed to tourists although it is popular with German tourists. Whereas comfortable sunbed apartment / hotels based around a pool are very much the norm elsewhere I have stayed in Greece, they are not here. I stayed here for 6 nights and liked it very much. Its still very pretty with a bustling town square near the harbour with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Has lovely views across the bay. It felt a bit more 'real' in the sense of a Greek experience.

You have access to the following places which are worth visiting. The beautiful beach of Voidokilia. The beautiful nature reserve of Divari with its beautiful assortment of plants and bird life. The castle above Voidokilia and the the castle above the town of Pylos are both worth visiting.
You can dine in the fantastic sea restaurants of Pylos and the nearby Gialova restaurants.
If you are a golf player there are 4 superb golf courses which are run by the Costa Navarino resort.

We went to explore its ancient Greek heritage and nature reserves. Nestor's Palace is just accessible by bus but for a brief visit only, (Our was shortened by the late arrival of the only bus able to take us there.) Its accompanyong museum is currently unavailable. I like insects and natural history so we had hoped to visit the famous nature reserve near 'sandy Pylos' but this was impracticable. The area around the castle is interesting. We really needed a car.
Otherwise, we had a great time sitting in a local cafe watching the world go by.

Pylos is small town on sea.
Pylos is small town on sea. It´s little touristic but not too much. Very friendly people. Nice habour with many restaurants. Only one hour drive to Kalamata. Near Pylos is super resort Costa Navarino with four golf courses. Only negative thing is that playing is very expensive. It´s good place to explore Peloponnesos by car.

Beautiful picturesque fishing village; a cluster of friendly local cafes/restaurants located in square and adjacent harbour; excellent value with access to some of the best beaches in the world nearby
Really great location, just one block from the main square. Small grocery and bakery within 2-3 minutes walk -- everything you need to self-cater.
Apartment is wonderful: the main bedroom is quite large and the second room would be great for 2 kids (or one spouse who snores, in our case).
Would definitely stay here again if we return to Pylos.
Bathroom is small, but the shower has good pressure and is easily big enough for a 6' person.
Nice private outdoor area with table & chairs.
Pylos is a great town. This two bedroom, upstairs apartment was well located, close to village square and great choice of restaurants. Walking distance to the historic castle. The kitchen is fully equipped should you want to cook. It was great to have the use of a washing machine and terrace for drying clothes. Host’s mother lives downstairs, but very discrete and mindful of our privacy. We were able to park our car outside the house.
Our studio was very spacious, clean and with a fully equipped kitchen. Hospitality is also experienced through small details and there were a lot of well-thought provisions to use. During the night we could also see the beautiful summer sky from our studio's garden. On another note, although Vasiliki Residence is located on a quiet side of Pylos, it is very close to the center and a big super market is walking distance from there.
Very spacious for our family of 8 people with breathtaking views. Clean with a well equiped kitchen and high quality linen and toiletries. Our hosts recommended and booked for us an excellent taverna nearby and were constantly available to provide asistance. A big thank you for the gifts of local products they offered to us. Pylos is a beautiful town with lots of places to visit and explore nearby. I highly recommend this place!
Stavros' house is perfect for a stay in the nice village of Pylos: in the heart of the old village, but with a road large enough to park the car a few steps from the house. A flight of steps lead quickly to the big square by the sea with restaurants and shops. The house is well equiped, all clean with new paint and furniture. We enjoyed the large terrasse, very quiet! We had three nice days, there is plenty to do in the area.
Great view, fantastic location, Very friendly and accomodating staff. Also great forethought: we were there to attend to a specific event that required a very early departure and the hotel was up-to-date, we did not even need to ask for it but they have already planned for an extra early breafast option for the attendees. Very clean and recently renovated. Great value for money
Quiet and nestled in trees with a lovely view of the bay. The hotel has its own little "beach" the water is crystal clear and perfect to swim with an amazing panoramic view of the cliffs surrounding the bay. Breakfast in the hotel was wonderful delicious and wide variety . Everyone is nice and helpful, even Bella the docile dog fits the calm atmosphere .
Two weeks in Greece and THIS was my favorite hotel. Gorgeous, gigantic room with a cute little balcony and a bathroom the size of most of our other rooms. The bed was a freaking dream!!! Large, comfortable and perfectly pillowy- we slept like two babies. You get all this AND the staff/ownership are so, so lovely. If Pylos is in your itinerary, book here!
Lovely apartment with everything you need and more. It has clearly been refurbished recently and was set in lovely gardens with a view of the sea.
Although central Pylos is 15 minutes walk away you are rewarded by being in a stunning setting. There is also a very quiet beach not too far away if you walk down the track past the tiny hospital.
Very well decorated, well equipped and stylish space. Loved the terrace on the second floor! It was great to stay in a real neighborhood close to the action. Location is perfect - so close to everything you would want to see, do or eat in Pylos. Street parking was very easy. Check in and check out was a breeze.
The beach is lovely, and convenient to nearby Pylos. The pool area is attractive to look at. The bed was comfortable. The valet driver is so kind and thoughtful. They should promote him and give him a raise, as from a human standpoint, he was the highlight of the stay.
Hotel Anezina is the most beautiful place to stay in Pylos. The room is sparkling clean and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Kyria Anezina is such a beautiful, friendly lady. We were made so welcome and her homemade lemonade is absolutely delicious ❤️
The hotel is very relaxed and has fantastic views of the Pylos bay. The staff are discrete and friendly. House-keeping was swift and efficient (we went for coffee in the morning and found our room clean on our return).
Positioned in a beautiful location in Pylos, our room was overlooking the sea so that was extremely beautiful. The staff very very friendly and accommodating and overall a pleasant experience and a clean room.
the abundant breakfast and the beautiful breakfast room was a great surprise
the hotel was situated in a quiet corner of Pylos, but still at walking distance of seafood restaurants and the main square
She is the best hostess, it was a hotel feel with cleaning service every day but with a personal 'bed and breakfast' appeal. Excellent view that money can't buy!
