Beautiful 2 bed apartment for us a family of 4. Maria was very helpful and available at all times for any questions. She cleaned the apartment daily which made my holiday not having to dress beds and wash floors etc. Best location for a family in Platis Yialos I felt as stones throw from beach but fabulously quiet. One of the best accommodations we have used.

Excellent breakfast (huge!) with homemade cake and good coffee. Very friendly hosts and the room was comfortable, with an ocean view and balcony.
It's a sweet town, with lovely beach and a selection of restaurants. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach, so it is nice and quiet at night but not far from the commercial area.

We arrived on Sep 28th and left on Oct 2nd. The season in Sifnos ends on Oct 1st so the area was rather empty, however bars and restaurants in Platis Yialos were open. The beach is beautiful and the food is superb. Public buses at the end of the season are spars, and taxis are pricy, so we rented a car for a day when we wanted to visit other places on the island.

Nice place, long sandy beach, calm water.
Nice place, long sandy beach, calm water. Plenty of restaurants, terraces, bars, several mini markets. Good prices, great food. My choices are Steki for a traditional dinner (incredible good price) and NUS for a sophisticated one.
Very clean place, nice buildings, beautiful view.
Personal overall impression: traditional, but without feeling it old.

Very nice beach although too expensive for the travelers as well as for the hotels guests. Actually the premises ask guests to pay 40euros for every day rent for 1 sun umbrella and 2 beds. The food was quite expensive too.
To sum up, very nice Greek Island and very attractive beach in Platis Yialos although quite expensive.

Our place Le grand blu apartments were lovely and rustic.
Our place Le grand blu apartments were lovely and rustic. Spacious and beautiful view of sea and marina of Platis Gialos. Our hosts Costa & his wife were very gracious and lovely and always asking if things were well for us. This is their family property handed down. They have pride and take care of it as best they can but only thing is that fir my needs there were too many stairs to top unit. Having had hip surgery I should not have booked for this reason. If you want rustic Greek charm that adds a bit of south if France flavor thorn perfect for you and small families.

All was good. Maria and all of the staff were great. They worked hard to make our stay totally enjoyable. The island is safe. The beaches are from a picture postcard. There are many good places to eat. We took Fabio's day long boat trip , which was so good. Next time we plan for a longer stay. Best vacation we had in years.

The location and property were perfect for what we needed. The hotel and rooms are as pictured. A comfortable large light and airy room with a mini fridge and air conditioner. The hotel is across from a wonderful beach. Although it's in a tourist location it was quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. a small number of bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants are all nearby. It's not an overcrowded tourist area. There is a bus service to the main town, however worth hiring a car to explore the island.
Exceptional hotel, friendly and helpful staff in a great location. Thanos and his wife welcomed us like part of the family. Our split level suite, and splitlevel private balconies were perfect. We had amazing views over the pool and the beach. Breakfast each day was simply amazing. Fresh, local food with a view to die for. We loved the short walk down the steps to the beach each morning for our long swim, and also to dine at night (often on the sand).
The hotel is located near Platis Gialos, we went there by car but there is a bus stop nearby if you don't have a car. Very close walking distance to the beach. Plenty of parking. Value for money for Sifnos. Very friendly host willing to make the best for us when we requested to check out late. We didn't but she offered all the help. Quite area for sleep. The kids loved the elevated room with the ladder and the adults the privacy of the basement room.
The friendly greeting! The spotlessly clean room with a view. Right on the sandy the beach!! Very peaceful. The welcome basket with lots of coffee, yummy food, and wine. We loved the location and beach area. There were lawn chairs and umbrella available with no additional cost. There was also access to a washing machine with laundry pods. Twenty steps to bus stop. Wonderful stay! The girls (sisters) are so friendly and kind!!!!
the best location in Sifnos for beautiful beach, great food and great drinks. also Petros is the best manager. I went to Almyra two years in a row and I chose to stay there for my wedding with my wife. I will take the kids there when I get older and would recommend staying at Almyra or at least going for food and drinks to anyone who loves the Greek islands! thank you Petros and Almyra staff
This is a true family hotel. Mrs Effy, mother of Alexandros, is an extremely energetic, kind and caring person who makes you feel very special. We loved the wonderful breakfasts with piles of fresh fruit, the shady garden, the fine swimming pool and bar. The sandy beach with its good restaurants is only a 5 minute walk away. We would love to come back next year.
Friendly, cosy and warm atmosphere. Very helpful staff who were more than willing to assist you in any way possible. Lovely pool area with views of the ocean.
We stayed in a 4 bed apartment that was excellent. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Had the opportunity to try out the restaurant at their sister boutique hotel. The food experience was truly exceptional!
a fantastic place to stay in Sifnos. Maria was so kind and thoughtful. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and well located to both the beach and nearby hiking trails. The courtyard was lovely with tea light candles at night lighting the area. I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone staying on the island in the future and hope to return one day.
Staff were so helpful and very responsive in assisting me get to and from the port which can be a bit difficult in Sifnos as there are not many taxis on the island.
Room was cute and the location was amazing! Karma hotel is across the road from a gorgeous beach with amazing cafes and restaurants around and right next to the supermarket.
The view was amazing, the hotel was clean very pretty. The rooms had all that we needed for a summer vacation and the people running the place are more than friendly. Super helpful, always with a smile and calm. Absolute pleasure. The location is a few 100 meters from the beach. Added value if you look for quiet. across the bus station
Magical location with olive trees and other local greenery and flowers, view of the Aegean Sea, swimming pool, breakfast included, 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach , restaurants , bars, mini market. Staff is extremely friendly and the cleaning crew works non stop, they are amazing !
Well kept hotel, beautiful landscape and Greek feel all around.
The location is ideal, a 5/7min walk to the beach and seconds away from the bus stop to explore other villages.
The hosts were so sweet, always smiling and helpful.
Excellent small hotel, very clean, excellent location, sunbeds on beach and breakfast options very good and fresh!
Maria was there for everything we needed!
We will come back…..
We were provided Greek cookie and homemade jam from fruit trees in backyard. There was a nespresso machine in the room which was nice. We were 2 min away from beach by foot.
