The apartments are located an easy 5-10 minute walk from the ferry terminal at Skala, through the small downtown area where the restaurants, bars and shops are located. The Argo studio’s are located right opposite the beach, so the studios at the front of the building have beautiful views. We stayed in on of the ground floor studios at the back. The room was a nice size, very clean with comfortable beds,a lovely newly renovated bathroom and a small area with an electric kettle, coffee maker and a refrigerator that had ice cold water waiting for us. I must also say that arguably one of the best things about this place is “Argyris”, the owner! My friend unfortunately fell whilst getting off the ferry, on our arrival at the studio’s, upon seeing that she was hurt he ran back into his apartment, and came out with his first aid kit and tended to her injuries, he told us to call him if we needed anything. On the day we left Argyris insisted on driving us to the port to catch our ferry back to Athens.

Agkistri is for the adventurous alternative travelers who value nature, tranquility and not the crowds of tourists. Here the opening times of the places keep a different pace from back when people respected themselves and their rest time.
In Skala you will find basic services and a beautiful landscape in a small size just as the island is tiny and walkable.
All the places worth a visit and it is hard to find a place with no standards.

Skala is a beautiful place and it has everything you'll ever need. Lots of restaurants, ice cream, waffle, cocktail bars, sand beaches with sun beds and umbrellas but if you don't want very crowded places you can take an umbrella on your own and enjoy the sea.

Great get-away for a few days.
Great get-away for a few days. Fantastic restaurants and welcoming locals. Beaches and water can’t be any better! Marina Beach was a favorite. Ate several meals at Moshos and loved every meal. Also dined at Toxotis which was also great. Took the City Bus to Aponisos for 2€ each way to get a better sense of the beauty of the island.

Skala is a mostly summer resort than a village.
Skala is a mostly summer resort than a village. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, port, beaches. The main "city" - Megalochori - is more authentic with pretty houses in the Greek style ( white-blue houses). Also, the main port is situated there.

Skala is beautiful with a great selection of tavernas.
Skala is beautiful with a great selection of tavernas. The sea is crystal clear and perfect for bathing. The ferry crossing is easy and dependable.
There is a danger of too many cars being allowed to spoil the island. There is no need for a car.
I just can say "we liked everything about our stay in the Saronis hotel".
We were searching for a hotel on Agistri for one night and this was the only one available on booking.com (one day before our arrival). When we arrived we were just impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the room, especially the (breakfast) garden, the breakfast itself and the great location of the hotel. If I would live in Athens, I would visit Agistri and stay in this hotel several times a year for sure.
This is more or less a hotel with an actual reception which is manned most of the time, and it was possible to leave the baggage in the reception after checkout. The location is convenient on the first row of the beach promenade, a little withdrawn. The standard is simple but generally fine: the AC worked well and the bed was fairly comfortable. You could get breakfast in the garden for an extra charge, but I chose not to try it.
Everything was amazing, this was literally the first hotel right by the beach with exceptional view only a few steps from the beach. The hotel had its own restaurant with a variety of food choices from vegetarian to fish and meat. The rooms were clean and everything thoughtfully taken care of before our arrival. The staff so friendly and ready to help us with anything. Truly worth visiting and will definitely be going back soon.
The hotel is in front of the beach. You basically go out of your room and you are already in the sea. There are sunbeds in front of the hotel, on the beach, where you can have a drink, eat breakfast...
The room with the view on the sea was amazing with a big terrace. The center of Skala is 5min away by walking and you can find many good restaurants.
The host was very welcoming, nice and accommodating. We definitely recommend.
- the staff was super friendly and welcoming
- you literally almost fall into the sea when you leave the hotel and the hotel sun beds are clean and comfy
- we can highly recommend booking one of the suites with a whirlpool. They are very modern and comfy at the same time
- the boutique offers the highest quality clothes and jewellery we found on Agistri and the boutique lady was also very nice
The location is very good, next to the shops and 2' walking time from the beach.
It has Netflix TV.
It was clean and we were offered body soaps and shampoos.
Air-condition was working well.
The lady who welcomed us was very very friendly.
The reception (is located in another building, close to Skala port) kept my luggage for a few hours after I left the key.
I had a wonderful stay at the Vasilaras. The staff were wonderful. The lady who runs it was kind, friendly and very helpful. the terrace area, by the pool, is shady and cool. The location is great, only 100m from Skala ferry and close to the town and beach. i would recommend this to anyone loking for a break on agistri. I will be back
Everything was nice:
- The apartment was spacious
- It was quiet at night, the beds were good.
- Friendly staff
- City center was close by but still the apartments were in a quiet area
- Unrelated to the apartment itsself, i would always recommend staying in Skala when visiting Agistri
Great place to stay in Skala Agistri .Central location, nice studios with fantastic bathrooms.Host Martha ,her beautiful family and great team make you feel welcome and are happy to help and give advise .Looking forward to stay at Dedes again.
A little piece of paradise on Agistri. So well kept and maintained and the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. It has so much character and the food is delicious too. Beautiful swimming at the beach right in front of the hotel.
Great location. Steps to the Skala beach and port for the ferry. Within walking distance to the village for bars, restaurants, and shopping. Good breakfast that was included, modern rooms with cocomat mattress!
It offers a private house feeling, providing a different experience from my previous accommodation on the island (Saronis Hotel); a very new development with modern and fancy features; and great location.
I LOVED this hotel. It was clean, had the most beautiful view, and was a GREAT value for the price. Also right next to Skala port. Would recommend to anyone!
Position was ideal for us, 5 minute stroll into Skala.
Kekrifalia is spotlessly clean, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, food is excellent.
