Villa Eleni, hotel in Soroni

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Villa Eleni is a recently renovated apartment set in Soroni, 1.2 km from Soroni Beach.

Simply wonderful place and very friendly hosts. The house has everything you need. We were just 2 but I think this is also Ideal and very suitable for friends or for a family, especially since there was a choice of 2 bathrooms in the apartment to use. It is literally fully equipped, has everything for a super comfortable stay, washing machine, coffee machine, hairdryer, iron, cutlery crockery and much more. Also a shared BBQ & outdoor lounge & extra kitchen. There is a brand new swimming pool for adults & children with a very nice sitting area with sun loungers, sofas & chairs to enjoy. For the children there is also a new playground. Lovely quiet area with walking distance to a large supermarket, mini market, bakery, pharmacy and some great Tavernas/restaurants that we tried. The beach is 15-20 min walk with crystal clear water. Highly recommended for families.. Many thanks to Christina.

Sioutis House, hotel in Soroni

Sioutis House is situated in Soroni. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchen. Free WiFi is provided.

We were a group of 4 and had more than enough space. I think that 8 people would fit easily, perhaps only one toilet would be slightly problematic (especially with girls 😃). If one of you is a night owl and wakes up later than the rest of you, definitely not a problem in this apartment because you have a second big room with another huge TV available. Both rooms with A/C. Soroni town is peaceful but full of great family restaurants. In the morning you will appreciate the nice bakery with great coffe and delicious pastry. For a romantic evening and amazing food I would recommend winery/restaurant - the closest one to this apparment. On top of that, this apartment is equipped more than well-enough. Washing machine with tablets. All kinds of seasoning and naturally all the things you need for cooking itself. In the bathroom you will find everything you need as well (shower gels, razor blades, sun screen protector etc....). Thank you for amazing service and great communication! Only downside is that we didn't meet our host in person (too busy) because she seems like funny and nice person. Thank you that we could stay 🙂

The villa was wonderful, well equipped, Maria was wonderful host who checked on us and advised us where to go especially the Taverns and restaurants. We are a group of OAP’s so some of the villa especially the bathroom was a problem as it has step to the toilet and to the bath tub. It was a fantastic holiday!! You need a car ! We recommend the villa and the beach nearby. Anna, Santan, Malcolm and Tony

We almost missed the beauty of Soroni, it’s easy to do that...

We almost missed the beauty of Soroni, it’s easy to do that if like us you imagine that a coastal village is all about beach holidays. Soroni has a narrow strip of natural and neglected pebble beach. One taverna stands beside the beach. There are a few luxury villas set well back from the road. It is a village with potential and in desperate need of a few basic improvements. Litter is a problem. It could be a much more attractive place with a regular clean up. People meet up at the beach and leave their cans and plastic behind. Look higher for the beauty in Soroni. Roads lead up into the hills behind the village where one finds the stunning landscape crisscrossed with trails for walks and if you’re brave, mountain biking. There are sheer drops into chasms and valleys that should make people nervous about taking children. The views would thrill hill walkers and Rhodes misses a trick with a holiday season that ends in October because hiking is pleasant in cooler weather. The village is divided by the main road. There is supermarket, shops, pharmacies, eateries and most essential businesses for local life. Much of the older part of the village around the church features abandoned houses that nature has begun to encroach upon. I am sure that these look far more attractive in spring when festooned with wild flowers. In the manner of such dwellings, they tend to be huddled together down narrow lanes, most with just a small space for a porch in front. They would make ideal holiday homes for hikers who need a comfortable and practical place to lay their heads after a day out in the countryside. Numerous cats are another feature of Soroni. Perhaps a few cat lovers would like to retire here and help look after them? Soroni has much potential in a different direction from the typical beach resorts. I would like to see the small park overlooking the beach spruced up, a tea shop offering snacks and cakes. Hiking and tea shops go together.
