Lovely modern apartment with a large balcony with a panoramic view over Stoupa. Great bed, lovely bathroom as well as all other facilities. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets from our balcony. Situated slightly above Stoupa which was perfect and an easy car ride to the beach/shops. Although we never met Maria , she was very accessible and quick to reply to queries. We would love to return.

A mountain range rises up behind the coastline with little villages tucked away. There are many walks in the mountains and along the coastal path with stunning views. Very crowded village with narrow roads. A lot of noise during the night The worst thing is the beach of Kalogria, which 10 years back was one of the best beaches in the area. Stoupa is not what you expect, unless you've been there. It's not a Greek fisher's village with white and blue houses and wide steps leading up and up to touristy stores and restaurants. We really like Stoupa, so much so that this was our fourth trip to this appealing resort. Stoupa is in a dramatic setting with the backdrop of awesome mountains. It has everything you would desire from a typical seaside Greek resort. Excellent tavernas, great choices on menus and the service is friendly, attentive and quick. The village has a peaceful atmosphere, two sandy beaches, two good supermarkets. It has everything one would desire for a memorable holiday in Greece.Graham
