This is a terrific tiny family-run two star hotel on the waterfront. The rooms look out across the bay of Corinth and at night you can hear the waves lapping beneath you. The rooms are basic but nicely decorated. However, the location is unbeatable. You eat the plentiful breakfast on the edge of the water enjoying the view and the meals in the taverna are excellent - we ate there both nights of our stay. Dimitris, the owner, is extremely helpful and even gave us an itinerary of places to visit while we were staying. This is such an unspoilt and authentic place to stay, redolent of the Greece we used to visit many years ago.
Rodini Hotel offers modern rooms with views over the Corinthian Gulf from their balconies. It offers a private beach, sauna, gym and free parking.

This is a plain but solidly comfortable conference hotel in a fairly leafy, riverside location outside a small residential town just east of Bologna. It is very conveniently located for the main motorway from Milan down to Bologna on the way to the coast, and as such an excellent stopover for anyone heading to or from the Ancona ferry port. The restaurant is reasonably good, and the room rate including breakfast, in August at any rate, when the business and conference trade is presumably slack, is a bargain. We paid 84 euros for two, breakfast included. Dogs are welcome, but 20 euros is at the high end for a pet supplement, and seems odd in comparison with the low room rate. Formula One fans may be interested in the property’s connections with the late Ayrton Senna, and a small display of memorabilia in the hall.
Hotel Georgios offers rooms with LCD TVs and balconies just 150 metres from the Rio Antirio Bridge. A café and bar are on site, and private parking is free.
This hotel is situated in Patra, next to the city’s university and near the Church of St. George of Rio. It has a comfortable lounge, a TV room and a café.
Enjoying breathtaking views of the Corinthian Gulf and the suspended bridge of Rio-Antirio, Hotel Flisvos offers 24-hour front desk service very close to the centre of Nafpaktos.
