Incredible hospitality, delicious breakfast that varied every day, and such friendly space. They were so welcoming and knowledgeable, and were pet friendly which was a huge bonus. (They loved our dog, and she loved them)

Marios, the owner, was incredibly helpful and informative. The location is ideal, close to trail starts and local restaurants. A great host and a convenient location for exploring the area!

Good place for fit hikers on cobbled paths to stone bridges, old villages and Vikos gorge - walking boots recommended.
Vitsa also has a nice square where you can relax under a large plane tree and view the upper part of the village. It's a good location for exploring the area by car too but take into account that there are very few petrol stations around.

It is a small village in the mountains, has a lively village square with restaurant. Easy access to next village with more restaurants. Driving in between the villages in the mountains was challenging but it is a very beautiful part of Greece. Vikos Gorge, the mountains and the river were simply spectacular. River rafting definitely worth doing.

Vitsa village is a great location to serve as your base, if you like to discover Zagorohoria. Next to it, is Monodendri that has a small hiking trail to Agia Paraskevi monastery (has the oldest chapel in the area) that is build on a rock overlooking Vikos gorge. You can have a few minutes drive up to Oxia lookout to have a fantastic view of the gorge. To the west, you can drive to Kipoi to visit some arched stone bridges and drive up to Vradeto. To the east you can visit Aristi and drive up the zig-zag road to Papigo. We live in coastal Thessaloniki and made our visit in January, so please consider our advise: Drive safely with your winter tyres and watch for ice or the temperature for icing conditions.
For dinner your should make a reservation, because restaurants are crowded. But the people and the food are great so you will surely enjoy it. There are no pharmacies in all of these villages, so be prepared. Also there are no supermarkets, so you might bring some refreshments and snacks with you if you want lower prices. The water in the tap is coming from mountain springs and we haven't drunk bottled water during our stay.

We ate in the hotel restaurant in the square in Vitsa.
We ate in the hotel restaurant in the square in Vitsa. The staff were very friendly & the food was always delicious. We ate there four times. Our 3 year old loved it as there is a big tree in the middle of the square to run around & a playground nearby too. Great value for money. The view is beautiful too.
The facility consists of several rooms, with common areas inside and out, including a small refrigerator for common use. We had the place to ourselves during our stay there, so we had no concerns about having enough quiet or space. There are restaurants within walking distance. We had great views, and the backdrop of livestock bells was a delightful addition. Our primary purpose was to visit not just Vitsa, but the surrounding villages, historic bridges, and scenic views of the Vikos Gorge, and this made a great base for our sightseeing.
Tasos and Sofia are excellent hosts that helped us have a wonderfull stay. Bridging the gap between a hotel and a B&B, both of them have created an amazingly warm place with the best beds I have ever slept in and my neck thanks them for that! At the same time they have created a nice communal environment among the guests that provided an even more welcoming experience. Definately revisiting when we travel again to Zagori!
The location was nice, vitsa was nice little town. The accomodation has a nice terrace with a great view and even in October sun until late afternoon. The room was small, but clean and had all amenities needed. The shared rooms were very nice, with several boardgames available for the guests. Of note, there is no supermarket in Vitsa or surrounding towns. You have to do your grocery shopping in Ioannina.
VERY nice hosts. They did their best to help. They don't speak English but used Google translate very well.
The rooms are very nice and spacious. The breakfast was wonderful.
This is a family B&B. Very cozy and the owners are available a lot of the time and ready to help.
The host even gave us some fruits and cheese pie for the day.
Vitsa is a very central location in Zagori.
We loved staying here, Maria and her family were very welcoming and Maria gave us so much information to help make our stay so much more rewarding. We ate dinner at the family restaurant and it was delicious. The proximity to the Vitsa steps was great it was a lovely walk, and the location for local attractions and walks was great.
Everything!!! Vitsa is a beautiful village in goodlocation, the guesthouse is traditional with spacious and clean, warm rooms.
Delicious homemade breakfast, especially prepared for you by the owners (Maria & Dimitris) who are very kind and helpful. They make you feel really welcome! Highly recommend it if visiting Zagorochoria!
The suite is luxurious and comfortable. The decoration is thoughtful and practical.
The furnishing are practical. The bathroom is modern and has all the amenities.
The staff is extremely helpful.
The bigger suites have full fridge and freezer.
The location is an easy walk to Vitsa.
The location in Vitsa is very nice, this accomodation in almost in the village center. You have about 4 restaurants / taverenas in the reach within 10 minutes walk. The rooms are fine equiped, spacy, newly funrnished. The host family is very kind

Such a lovely little hotel! Cozy, warm and traditionally decorated. Perfectly clean and well preserved. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient location. Would definitely return.
The hotel is very clean & comfortable with large airey rooms, a beautiful garden, excellent breakfast. The hosts were helpful and friendly; they went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
Big room with hot water. Very good breakfast. Rural and quiet. You can park the car next to the hotel/guesthouse. We also had a balcony. 3 restaurants in town. ATM and minimarket in Monodendri
Breakfast is the best one I had in any hotel - home made pies, fresh salads, cheeses, milk, orange juice, cakes. Wow, the house smells of baking overnight you cant wait to the breakfast...
