My husband and I were travelling back to Bulgaria from Italy and wanted to divide our journey in two. We booked a night at the property which is located some 30 km away from the freeway. The area seemed a popular destination for eco tourism and we saw many paths going from the road into the forest. The property is completely new - very clean, the room was very cozy. There was a big area for eating and gatherings and this seems to be a good spot to go with friends and kids. The village is extremely peaceful. The host was very nice and helpful. As we arrived on Sunday evening, nothing was open and we couldn't find a place to eat. The host offered some home made food, which was very kind.

The owners are like the lovely relatives you go visit and that make you feel at home immediately. They are multilingual (we spoke English) and it was a pleasure to communicate. A warm welcome, a nice room well prepared, a spacious court with a covered seating area with a fireplace, a very nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna (which we didn't use at 32°C outside). The location is remote in the Slavony region but exactly where you want to be when you visit and want to take to the countryside. Excellent base to explore the villages around, Kujevo Pozega or others. Beautiful, peaceful and quiet surroundings, plenty of options for hiking, sports, nature sight seeing and other activities. The hosts are most helpful with anything you need or ask. Breakfast is fabulous - a homemade variety of organic delicious foods the comes from any of the surrounding farms that grow anything food there is. Prepared with love and skills, tasteful and hearty just like all Croatian/Slavonian food . this beats any big hotel buffet by far. The room is spacious and well furnished, fridge/kitchen sink combo and with a nice bathrooom with a big walk-in shower. All clean and well functioning - the A/C was powerful yet super silent, almost not audible. This place gives you space, peace, tranquility and a heartful of goodness to recharge and rest. The lady owner was very kind at breakfast and gave us a small pot of honey as present. The hotel is conveniently located and cars can be parked safely. The bed and the pillows were comfortable.

We liked the house and the garden. Looks like a lot of effort was put into it. We liked the location and the availability of 2 parking spots inside the garden. We had all the place for ourselves. The kitchen and the common space with the chimney were really nice. Everything was well equipped for many people. We enjoyed the space and especially the outdoor amenities. We were 5 adults and actually even more people could have fit and had a place to sleep for the night. Unfortunately, there is only one private bedroom for 2 adults. The rest of us slept on the second floor which required climbing the slippery stairs (didn’t feel 100% safe) and there weren’t curtains on all the windows so the light woke us up earlier than expected. The roof was very close to the beds so for taller people it might be uncomfortable. For one night that we stayed it was ok. The bathroom was clean and ok. We really appreciated the stay but there is some room for improvement of the second floor.
