The couple welcomed us with a drink and had a chat with us. They helped us with dinner booking. Very accommodating to utilize the jacuzzi and sauna. An amazing stay.

We stayed at this guesthouse because we were visiting the nearby winery of Korek for a wine tasting and dinner (5mins walking) and were pleasantly surprised by this guesthouse! The room was well maintained, clean and the host was very kind and helpful and overall the guesthouse has a great value for money. At breakfast, we learned that the guesthouse itself also has a winery and a restaurant (which was closed at the time), which we would have loved to visit too. The area overall is also really nice, a small rural village in a nice wine area 45 mins out of Zagreb, so highly recommended to visit!

The rolling hills, castle ruins, farms, old villages, and wineries are terrific! Very quiet and peaceful surroundings full of nature and charming scenery. I wish I had more time for wine and cheese tasting and hiking around the forests and hills!

Jastrebarsko is a city that needs to be updated and upgraded for tourists. The most welcoming place was the public library with staff that provided us with computer access when we could not get our phone to work. The librarians were the most accommodating of any office or institution. There is so much to see and tour in this part of the country, yet there is not any real tourist info or helpful guides. The paragliding, wine tours, hiking--this place is made for tourists and yet there is nothing being done to help people who come there to enjoy the area. The food is good in this part of the country. If they want people to come and spend money they will need to build more hotels and train people to deal with tourists. A lot of money will be spent by tourists--if they are made to feel welcome. The streets and infrastructure need work.
