I was not particularly interested in the sea, but my children liked Sveti Juraj and the villages nearby.
I rather wanted to go on some bike trips. One of the was mount Zavižan (MTB or gravel needed), the other one was just a short ride on the road starting from the Northern part of Sv. Juraj to the mountain area (road bike is fine for a 20 km excursion).

It is a small village with friendly restaurants and friendly locals. The stand is old with historical changing cabins. There are a lot of small private entrances to the sea. It is quiet, great place to decompress and for getting away from a busy every day life.
The church bell rings in every 15 minutes, that could be a disturbance for some people.
Easy access to the sea, and like everywhere else, the Adria is crystal clear!

Sveti Juraj is not a place for longer stays.
Sveti Juraj is not a place for longer stays. It is a tiny town that appears abandoned, there are old abandoned buildings. The beach in Sveti Juraj is not bad, it is small, the water is nice and clean, you wanna wear water shoes when walking on the beach. There is a playground near the beach, there is also a store. It is not your regular beach town that you imagine when booking a vacation. It is fine for when you have a long drive and want to rest for a day or two.

Great hotel, right on the Adriatic Sea.
Great hotel, right on the Adriatic Sea. Great view of the port from my window. Delicious pasta dish at the seaside restaurant. Family owned hotel. The owners son, Vladimir, speaks very good English and was very helpful. Gated parking for my motorcycle. I plan on staying here again on my way back to France.

Sveti Juraj is a nice clean village with a small harbour.
Sveti Juraj is a nice clean village with a small harbour. We visited at the height of the tourist season (August) and therefore it was quite busy. It seems popular with families with kids. There are two main bathing areas, one with a pebble beach and the other that is a little rockier. There is a small store and a couple of stalls along the waterfront sell fresh fruit and vegetables. We ate at two of the 3 or four restaurants in the village and they were both good value for money offering meat and fish dishes.

Small cozy quiet village.
Small cozy quiet village. However, we visited in December, so things might be more busy during the summer. In the winter, there was only one restaurant (which was OK, BTW). The beach might be too small for you if you visit during a warmer period.
The view from the rooms is exceptional. Sveti Juraj is a beautiful village with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Yvonn and Mario are such beautiful and helpful people. We really could not have asked for more welcoming hosts. The rooms are comfortable with a large shared kitchen with everything you need. I hope to return soon.

The owner, Pavel and his Mom very friendly and helpful.
The apartman is super cleaned and well equipped.
The sea is absolutely close, you can see the sunset from your balcony.
Perfect place for couple, friends or family🏖️
I am sure, we will go back to Sveti Juraj to Guesthouse Plaza!
Congratulation! 👍
Location provided good access to the Sveti Juraj (which offered more than we expected) and the Velebit National Park (the main reason we stayed here). Hosts lacked English, but we managed to communicate. Balcony offered nice views over the sea and town. Accommodation was comfortable. Price was right.
Everything! Hotel and rooms are perfect, comfortable, with great design! Nature and surroundings are beutiful! Food was something that can be described, pure perfection, thanks to the chef! Staff and service are so nice and willing ti provide the best service for everything you need!
The view to the sea was exceptionally nice from the balcony. We just sat there in the evenings and talk for hours enjoying the scenery. The apparement looks like new and it is only a short walk away from the city center of Sveti Juraj. The hosts were very kind and ready to help
The apartment has a fantastic view. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped (however the pan was too big). There is a very nice beach about 10 mins by walking. We would come back with pleasure, because of the house and because of Sveti Juraj.
It was very special to have a private swimming area just across to relax.
The host was very accommodating to our arrival and departure timetables.
The house has everything you need.
We would definitely consider holidaying in Sveti Juraj again.
Very nice and helpful hostess; clean and white apartments with all kitchen facilities. Large balcony with beautiful sea views - both morning and evening. Good internet, parking space. 400 steps to the sea, to Senj - 6 km, Sveti Juraj -3 km
