Krk is a fabulous location. It's near the Rijeka airport which helps with getting there. The city is very picturesque with quite a few very good restaurants, little shops, and beaches. In the summer there are many boat tours leaving from here for a number of different excursions. In the summer it can be busy, in October pretty quiet, with some stores and restaurants closed for the season. For those into Scuba diving there are quite a few operations right around there, including Hang-Loose Diving in Punat. Definitely a fun destination.

A wonderful peaceful old town and its changing surroundings.
A wonderful peaceful old town and its changing surroundings.
But only outside the main season. According to household reports, it's hell during the summer holidays.
Several very satisfactory restaurants. Excellent white wine of the house everywhere.

This is what the Mediterranean used to be like.
This is what the Mediterranean used to be like. Nice old town, crystal-clear waters, lots of coves for truly uncrowded bathing, public beaches, lots of restaurants, lots of places for a stroll, and much of nature left untouched. Ditch Italy. Come here.

Happy Holidays is a state of mind!
Happy Holidays is a state of mind! Krk has a lot to offer, the Old Town is nice and has historic buildings, churches, a fortress etc.
The rich maritime cultural heritage can be visited in the wonderfully set up marine museum in a little side street, definitely a must visit for anybody with a fishing and boating spirit!
The island of Krk has a lot more to be proud of, such as the little historic fairy village of Dobrijn or the more mundane Malinska lungomare with a splendid view on Rijeka and the vessels mooring in the Kvarner Bay. And sometimes as well the dark clouds of an upcoming thunderstorm over the Učka Mountains.

Pitoresque medieval small town with all the necessary facilities. Little bit overcrowded at the time of the year. VeryMediterranean feeling. Mostly good food, only very few tourist traps. NO CARDS is spreading all over Croatia. Please stop it.

A little tourist-y, more than expected.
A little tourist-y, more than expected. The restaurants were mostly okay, with a few great places in-between.
We enjoyed the cliff-side beaches near Punta di Galetto, the Sottobateria Lounge near the Frankopan Castle, the Secret Garden for drinks and especially their pizzas!
Other noteworthy things were our trip to Vrbnik, which was a run down little medieval town on the other side of the island, about 20 minutes from Krk.
This the perfect location for a real Croatia holiday experience. The beach is just in front of the hotel, with sunbeds and umbrellas (for a fee though), old town is 10 mins walk.
The room was nice, comfortable, with a beautiful seeview.
Staff is very friendly and helpful - they ordered a taxi for us at the reception to take us to Vrbnik for a wine tasting.
I would definitely come back here and/or recommend it to my friends!
Perfect stay! This place exceeded my expectations. The staff was very, very friendly and professional, the rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was perfect, with different types of food- lots of gluten and lactose free options, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the old town and the beach is in front of it.
Private parking next to the hotel is free of charge
The property was absolutely fantastic, very clean and had appliances if you opted to cook. The host was very friendly and communication was great. It was a short walk to the Marina, restaurants and shopping center. They even recommended places to eat and I tried a fresh fig from the tree they offered. Would definitely recommend and stay again at this property. Claudia thank you for hosting us!!!!
New modern and nicely designed villa. Well equipped kitchen for 1 wk family holiday. Heated pool with outdoor terrace and BBQ (great would be to have a simple outdoor kitchen, so you dont have to go up&down :-) Location is very good, 10min walk to the closest beach. Punat and Krk easily reachable within 10min by car. We really enjoyed the stay (group of friends with small kids)!
The owners were very kind and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and new, in the kitchen you can find everything you need. There was also a private parking under the roof available on the property. There is also a spacious balcony. We recommend this place to everyone visiting Krk, you can feel at home. :) Thank you for a great stay.
The room was really nice as was the breakfast and the rooftop pool. The location is next to a beach area. It’s also great that the car parking was right next to the hotel because we were able to easily access the car to drive to other towns on the island. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
Really nice location, very quiet, but close to several beaches and the city center. You can reach everything in Krk by foot. Apartment has a lot of space, good equipment in the kitchen and a spacious balcony with a beautiful view. The host is really really nice and approachable for all cases.
I would like to thank you personally, Dorica, for your hospitality and support during my unfortunate situation. You supported and caring not only myself that I has hospitalised but also my girlfriend in giving her advice and suggestions on how to stay in Krk alone. Thank you 😊. Marco & Alex
Very fine location, close to the best beaches of Krk, super - good parking place, spacious and well equiped apartment with a large terasse, a nice surrounding garden with amazing exotic plants and trees, quiet area, friendly and very polite owner, ideal conditions for the perfect holiday.
Everything was great, the host Marin and his parents are super nice, always available, attentive and giving great advices to enjoy Krk. They provided us with special details which were so sweet. Also the location is awesome, 10 mins walk from the beach and City centre.
Massive, furnished sea view terrace, two bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen. The house is located in a very quiet, residential area of krk, just a short walk from the old town and a beach. The whole apartment clean and well maintained.
After a Croatian sailing holiday we booked two apartments at Sinisa to have some extra time in Krk and avoid heavy holiday traffic. Clean and bright apartments. Friendly and helpful owner. 10 minute walk to city center and waterfront. Great.
If you are looking for an Authentic Croatian experience in a 300 year old stone house this is your place. The apartment is just off the main square and surrounded by history. We absolutely loved it! Krk has a beautiful walled old town.
We recently stayed at Pansion Leggero in Krk, Croatia, and it was a very nice experience. The place is a new establishment, and the hosts were truly amazing, providing excellent service and making us feel welcome throughout my stay.
Very nice hotel with an excellent location both to the beach and the old part of Krk. Fresh food both for breakfast and lunch. Relaxing, modern facilities although the rooms are a bit old fashion, but still nice.
The apartment is perfect for a nice stay on Krk island. Very clean, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable beds! 5 minutes drive away to Krk town centre.
The owner is very kind!
Thank you for everything!
What I like about hotel is that is small and different than other few hotels in Krk.... at least if you look for a boutique hotel... nicely furnished, they can arrange a breakfast in a close by restaurant.
We rented a premium mobile home. It was on top of a hill with a partial view of the sea. I liked that it was not super close to the neighboring mobile homes.
