Everything was perfect and I was so grateful that I came across Mario and Petra’s apartment, and would definitely recommend here to all travelers without any hesitation. Anyone who gets in contact with Mario and Petra will be welcomed and touched by their hospitality and genuineness, and generosity.
I was going to arrive at Zagreb on late evening Friday and leave Zagreb very early in the next morning. Thankfully, Mario offered to pick me up at the airport in the evening as well as drop me off, all free of charge.
Even though it was very late, Mario was super courteous and friendly. He helped me bring my bag into the car and drove me to the accommodation. My flight next morning was at 7:10am (international flight). I felt bad and told Mario that I could call an Uber/taxi so he could have more sleep, but Mario said since he offered the service, he would keep the promise that he would come pick me up and drop me off at the airport.
We arrived at the accommodation after a smooth ride from the airport. The apartment was very well kept – sparkling clean, very cozy, all the amenities are well equipped, and I felt it’s up to (and even better than) hotel standard. I took a shower and the temperature was perfect, and I had a very comfortable sleep in the bed, which helped me to stay energized for the long flights the next day. The apartment is great for both short-term stay and long-term stays, you’d be able to cook (kitchen with stove), make coffee/tea, work (Wi-Fi works very well), or just relax. The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood and it’s near the 305 bus station (around 12 min walk) if you don’t have a car.
The next morning Mario came early to pick me up and drove me to the airport.
I was extremely lucky to have booked Mario and Petra’s listing on Booking, without them my trip wouldn’t be so smooth and easy. Mario and Petra represented the Croatian hospitality and are really the ideal hosts anyone could hope for.
