Wonderful location, especially to Plitvice national park - there is a side road to entrance P3 ferry that you can walk to and not worry about going to entrances 1 or 2, pay for parking etc. This route was not advertised anywhere and the front desk folks told us about it. Good onsite restaurant with free breakfast and other meals (paid). On site mini zoo (they have dogs, rabbits, goats, pony, pigs etc) and play areas would be a kick for families with small kids. Staff were very friendly.

Beautiful property, an unforgettable experience.
Ante, the owner made our stay. We were looked after exceptionally well, he explained the best way to walk around the national park, cooked incredible food while working so hard to look after us.
We would recommend having dinner at the property , the food was delicious.
We would also recommend getting a packed lunch for the park.
The location is great as it is really close to entrance 3 for the park which makes it really easy.

Host was lovely and gave us great advice for the park. Beautiful, idyllic spot with the sounds of the river, frogs and not much else. Can easily walk to the park entrance in 15 minutes. Inside super clean. Outside lots of different spots to sit in the woods overlooking the river.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park,...
It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

The location is amazing.
The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure.
The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant.
I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...
Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...
This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.
Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.
This is one of the favourite places we have ever stayed. It is incredibly peaceful and a beautiful location. We really enjoyed sitting outside each evening having dinner. The staff were fantastic and our 7 year old loved all of the games and activities dotted around the site.
It is a few minutes from the park entrance and the staff helped us plan a route around the lakes that avoided crowds. Was a much better place to stay than the generic hotels in the park.
Nena makes a nice breakfast like yogurt, prosciutto, cheese, bread, marmalade and eggs. The house is near the overlooks of the canyon and is walking distance to the Flora entrance of Plitvice. As long as you have a prepurchased ticket from entrance 1 (or 2?) you can enter the park there. Easy as that. You enter and head to P3, which is the boat across Kozjac lake. Continue with the rest of Route C until you are back at P3 to walk home to Nena’s
The host family cooks home-cooked meals and the family is exceptionally nice and takes care of every guest like family. Insider tips to see the park without the crowds are just one of the ways he takes care of you.
Our car battery died while we visited and the host arranged for everything to be fixed while we enjoyed the nearby national park. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.... and we did.
This place is a GEM & I would highly recommend if you are visiting Plitvice Lakes. It’s within short walking distance of entrance P3. As there are no restaurants nearby, you can get dinner & breakfast at the hotel, which are delicious. We especially loved the cherry port that started each dinner meal! The owners of the hotel are so helpful & welcoming! We would definitely come back here.
Small and nice hotel, spacious rooms and good and clean facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Milica, thanks a lot for taking care of us! We had a great time in the NP using your advice. Great place to start exploring Plitvice Lakes. Secret 3rd entrance is 400m away to beat the crowds. I will stay here again on my next visit and recommend friends.
The hospitality of the staff was really good. They arranged whatever we could ask for. Jasmine was very welcoming and guided us pretty well throughout our stay at Plitvice. It felt like at home away from home. Good rooms, good bathrooms! Good food.. don't need to go to any other restaurant situated far away from the hotel.
Dusan is very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. He makes good breakfast and gives good tips about where to go and what to see. The bedroom is very spacious and it is like what you see in the pictures. The best of the hotel is its location. Walking distance from Plitvice lakes. We didn’t use our car during the whole stay.
The hotel and the rooms are absolutely lovely and perfectly clean. The hotel is very well located in the middle of the nature and near the P3 entrance for easy and less crowded access to the Plitivice Park. The food is great. The hosts are particularly kind, helpful and professional.
Great location for visiting the National park. Very close to the entrance of the park. Beautiful hotel with big, clean rooms. Very comfortable and feels like home. Excellent breakfast. Great food in restaurant also, fresh food and fast service. Amazing staff. Loved everything here.
It was a large area with many places to walk around and enjoy the property. It was very quiet and serene. The location near the entrance to the park was perfect! The staff was the reason we had such a nice stay. They were very kind and eager to please!
Great location on the doorstep of the wonderful Plitvice Lakes National Park. The owner was really friendly, going out of his way to help book us a restaurant at a nearby hotel after we arrived late. Would definitely recommend!
I enjoyed time at this place, really cozy and comfortable apartment, nieces workers ever. Hotel has his own good restaurant, we even didn’t try to find out others 😁 Lake’s entrance was really close
loved this property primarily for the location and 5 min walk to an entrance to the park. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were also very spacious and clean.
Stunning location. Peaceful. Setup in a way you feeling your visiting an old friend as opposed to a hotel. Yet had all the amenities of a hotel. And the food is amazing!
Amazing experience. This (the hotel and the lakes) was a highlight of our visit to Croatia! The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was great.
