The room is very nice, spacious and beautiful, the breakfast is good and the staff is kind and nice, the pool is pleasant and the massage is professional. But there are some problems: the dinner is bad !!! We were several friends and everyone agreed that the food was not tasty and not healthy for the stomach :-( We had 5 meals and after the third day we preferred to go to an excellent restaurant and pay in addition even though there was food in the hotel for free, the hose in the bathroom is very short, towels are changed every 3 days, and the maids do not refill soap and toilet paper - You have to call to ask.

Breakfast was fine. Location, less than 10 minutes walk from the bus station, and under a half hour walk to the football stadium, Paksi FC, the reason for my visit.
Chap at reception wa very helpful with info on how to get to the stadium, and info about the 'village', as he called it.

Very satisfied with room and reception. The fact that the place is a bit out of town is a plus for me but others might prefer to be right in the middle of things. From earlier reviews, I thought there might be a problem finding the place and checking in. But that wasn't the case. For a cyclist (I'm also doing articles on cycling Europe for several American magazines), this was a perfect break from the campgrounds I had been featuring. Room is plenty large enough, reception gave me an easy place to store bicycle, there is a communal kitchen with mini-fridges (and lounge/tv), washing machine (the "boss" even gave me soap for it!), air-conditioning that worked (and no charge), wifi. The owners even allowed me to switch dates when weather slowed my progress (they didn't have to do that). The ONLY thing I could nitpick would be the shower head holder missing - but that probably means conservation of water since you turn it on and off while washing. Price was fair and reasonable. There is a very small pub downstairs (indoors/outdoors) that closes at 10; but I didnt experience any kind of noise issues before closing (even with windowswide open). So if you need a place to stay when in the area, this would be an excellent choice.
