Nice little town with good restaurants and interesting wine cellars. Downtown area is rather small, but good to walk through, the wine cellars are partly tricky to reach (e.g. in the wine yards with long and steep walks).

One of the great wine regions of Hungary with many good wineries. Use the fix priced taxi service (Gabriel Taxi) to get to the wineries. Surprisingly good restaurants and cafés are in the downtown. Plenty of shopping places in the outskirts of the town.

The apartman is quite near to the center of Szekszárd, so everything was within walking distance, but there is a reliable taxi service as well, if someone would like to go further. The swimming pool is smaller, but has a built-in swim jet, so both relaxing in the water and doing a bit of exercise is possible.

It had a spaceous kitchen area with two good size rooms, impeccable bathrooms and super new beds, crisp white bed linen and towels. We had a good time, and would recommend the place!

The size of the room was comfortable and the extra room and bathroom attached were very handy for our sudden situation. Monika was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice.
