Brilliant location just a few metres walk into the main town. Hotel was beautiful - newly refurbished. We had a huge room with a table and chairs and a kitchen area. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet - had a great nights sleep. Free secure parking was a huge bonus but I think this needs to be booked (we were travelling out of season so not a problem for us). Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Honestly couldn't believe the value for money. Highly recommend!

This is a great hotel for visiting Skanzen village museum, you can walk to the site from here. Stay more than a day if you are able, to allow enough time to see everything, and there's a lot! The people running the hotel were kind and helpful and gave us a voucher for a discount on the entrance fee. The room was spacious and clean, there was good heating which was nice as it was cold when we were there.

Lovely and quiet place near the river, managed to get a last minute booking and late checkin. Staff was really nice and helpful (they lent me a shower gel and a towel as well) , bungalow was simple but just what I needed. I'd love to camp come back and camp here properly!

Such a pretty little town especially if the weather is good. We went out of season (April) so a lot of places weren't open but we were able to find a choice of restaurants for our evening meal. We were only there for 24 hours so didn't have time to visit the various museums so perhaps a couple of days would have been better. Only downside was the heaps of tourists/tour groups. Szentendre is a picturesque town with a lot of interesting...
Szentendre is a picturesque town with a lot of interesting alleys to walk through and find hidden gems, including the walk down to the Danube River and along the path towards the Japanese Garden. I also visited Skansen the Open Air Museum which was an hour’s walk although you can take the bus. Many of the reconstructed buildings have information in English. I enjoyed the weekend beak to the North of Hungary!ClareHungary - 10Scored 10

This city is a hiden gem near to the capital. Worth the visit if you arround the capital. If you traveling with family and kids and not that fancy about the big cities than I would recommend you to consider to have an accommodation in Szentendre and visit BP during the day. It is just 30-40 minutes away with public transport, and you have trains every 5-10 minutes.

Szentendre should be visited when the weather is nice, best in summer. Beautiful streets, landscapes, food... in autumn-winter it is quite deserted, except on weekends. The hotel we stayed in does not justify the price for the quality it provides.

Cozy town located on the beautiful river bank. Perfect place for recharging your battery 🔋! Small bistros all around the place. You can enjoy traditional slow-cook food. Also there is a very good Mediterranean Balkan Taverna ADRIA. We recomand it from our ❤

The town in perfect little town by Danube, everything is adorable here. The only problem is that most of the shops are unreliable and not serious about their working hours: somewhere they opeb shops on time, but somewhere they don't bother to respect working hours at all!!!!! So, that is very bad for the bussines.
