Although this was a little way out of the centre of the town, it was an easy walk to both the lake shore and the railway station. Check-in was straightforward, and the host was very helpful, with maps and advice on places to visit. The room and bed were very comfortable. There was a shared kitchen but, as I was the only guest, I had it all to myself. This made an excellent base for exploring the area.
