stylish hotel, nice and helpful staff, we did not hear a lot of street noise, maybe because of the location of our room. shower and water pressure was great. great value for money! location may not be the very best but with the blue buses you can get anywhere easily and inexpensive

Very close to the airport. I like the outdoors of the hotel, surrounded by greenery, especially coconut trees beside the pool. It feels so refreshing sitting beside the pool in the morning and the afternoon regardless of the warm temperature in Manado. The trees give more fresh and cool air. The golf view is beautiful with the background of the sounds of music from the reception and some birds also from the trees.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Foods with the local menu are superb. I got the recommended one for dinner, and that was so tasty also a bit spicy but was really good. The breakfast menu has many varieties with local and western menus. I also tried a fresh young coconut drink, fresh from the coconut coconut shell. If you want to enjoy nature, this hotel is an option.

Hotel is around the corner of a few supermarkets and a huge shopping mall. AC in the room works well and we had a nice view from our room on the 5th floor. Breakfast is nice, a combination between western items and local cuisine, it starts at 7am but takes about 7.20 to get all the items ready. There is fruit, toast and jam and chocolate sprinkles, eggs, rice, soup, noodles, chicken or fish.

Try visiting the Tangkoko National Park if you're keen on endemic wildlife as you can see the black crested macaque, kuskus, tarsiers, cockatoos, and so many other wildlife in the park.
Tasikoki wildlife rescue center is also a great place to visit if you would like to know more about what has been happening to the wildlife who lost their habitats or are being hunted for animal trades.

Interesting, some beautiful scenery in the country, the city and markets are dirty and lots of rubbish in the streets ,would look a lot better on the waterfront if it was cleaned up ,maybe parks instead of dirty car parks and weeds.
Sadly we didn’t go out to the island for snorkeling, next time!

A city not yet developed for tourists and so you will see the real life of locals. Friendly people. Many churches. Nice beach at Litupang. There is much that can be developed for tourism. Good to have a local sim card and Grab app to move around the city.

The people of Manado are very friendly.
The people of Manado are very friendly. The whole city is very safe for tourists. In fact if there's a time that you left some valuable things inside malls, restaurants or in any public place you visited, you are assured that such will be returned back to you.
Nicely presented property. Friendly owners went above and beyond to answer queries and help out. Driver they arranged for tongkoko tour was good and seemed in keeping with what you'd pay for this tour, though I'm not sure park itself worth it personally (long drive and bit underwhelming). Dinner you can get was good and is definitely more generous than what you can get in nearby hotel. Can see once they get a bit more busy, potential for nice international feeling friendly atmosphere.
Affordable and really good value for money. Strategic location at the city centre. Great food variety at the breakfast and lunch buffet. Nice lounge with live music. Also appreciate the hotel's efforts to be environmental friendly by providing reusable water jugs instead of plastic water bottles in the rooms.
Room is big, perhaps the biggest room in any hotels in Manado. Breakfast was delicious and had so many things, national and international food. They even had a coffee machine where you could get cappuccino, latte etc - the best breakfast in Manado hotels. It's quiet and a good place to rest and relax.
It is a brand new hotel! With beautiful scenery from the rooftop cafe, which is enjoyable day and night. Good food, taste as origin as it should (Manadonese spice), very clean room, new rug, and speedy wifi.
With this price, it should be an option to stay.
The lady speaking English at the reception was really super kind and welcoming. So good for the hotel to have a staff with such a PR skills . I enjoyed my stay truly. A good day rest after too much travelling. Thank you
The staff at Aston Manado are simply wonderful - friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Great AC and plenty of hot water. A fundamentally great stay in Manado.
Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff helped us to book a tour and also the bus to Gorontalo. The rooms are very nice and clean and the location is handy too!
We had never heard of Swill Bel until coming to Indonesia. They are excellent. This is the best of the 4 that we have stayed in. Excellent staff, super helpful
