The setting of the hotel is fantastic, the surroundings simply beautiful. The infinity pool was amazing with stunning views. We preferred the pool restaurant to the main Puhu restaurant although not as much choice. The Spa was lovely and providing a free shuttle into Ubud was helpful.

It was in a beautiful setting, I had my own section of terrace beyond my patio overlooking the jungle ravine where I practiced yoga in the morning. There was also a small yoga room, and an outdoor massage room where I had the Background sound of birds to nourish my soul - the only one I could find in Bali so far! There was free transport to local spots after checkout.

- Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly)

- The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

I truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural view on the side of the road was a great way to Relax and enjoy your quality time for.
This property was absolutely amazing. Being in the heart of the jungle was such a unique experience and Banyan Tree Escape made our first trip to Bali so memorable. The staff was what made this experience so dear to our heart. Our host, De Gus, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even assisted with setting up our proposal. It was perfect!! The staff at the spa were exceptional and even management took a moment to introduce themselves to us and congratulate us on our engagement. We simply cannot recommend this property enough!
The hotel is amazing, indoors and outdoors. The room was spacious, the bed, mattress and pillows were super comfortable, the bathroom had a shower and huge bathtub. The balcony was overlooking jungle, that surrounds the hotel. The pool, gardens, restaurants and SPA were excellent. Every morning I used to walk in the agroforestry enjoying the birds singing, such a retreat to restore physical and mental health. Staff were super welcoming and food delicious ♥️ The paradise hotel, I would definitely return there, thank you for fantastic job!
This hotel was one of my favorite stays throughout my travels! The Hotel is nestled into an expansive lush jungle with nothing as far as the eyes can see. It is secluded and far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots in Bali, and I could not be happier with my selection. The staff were absolutely fantastic too! They were friendly, attentive and a joy to deal with. The villas are stunningly beautiful and seamlessly blend into the surrounding greenery.

What more needed a hidden gem in ubud must stay here atleast a day when coming to ubud and thank God we stayed for 5 nights there which made our ubud trip a fantastic one they also have rental bikes so no worries about travelling too everything is perfect
One of the prettiest locations to stay in Bali if you would like peace, quite and overview of the jungle.
We had 2 bungalows booked and both had an amazing view and the feeling that you are alone in and with the nature.
Bathroom is open, there is hot water and toiletries.
Hotel provides shower and pool towels.
Good breakfast
Staff is helpful and really kind
Perfect location for a traveler who wants to enjoy peace
Arriving at this place felt a bit like coming home. Wayan and his family are such lovely people creating this little oasis just a 20min drive from crowdy Ubud. If you like, you can also meditate with Wayan in the morning or evening. It's just the best thing to start or end your day with. Definitely recommend staying here if you would like to have some peaceful time, felt super comfy and will try to be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Waking up in the middle of the rice fields is just one of the best things one can do. The surrounding environment is quiet and serene. Friendly staff and I quite enjoyed the food there too - simple, but nice. Suitable for those who wants to stay slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, which isn't too far away anyway.
We enjoyed this place very much!!
Private villa with all the services nearby. Free shuttle to Ubud center a few times per day.
Spa just a few meters away.
We enjoyed cooking diner in the open kitchen!
The staff was very helpful they even said that they can bring whatever we need from the supermarket :)
We would definitely come back here again!
Breakfast was very good and satisfying, you can choose from the menu and they bring it in your room!! The stay let you remain in peace and relax, perfect for our arrival in Bali and after the flight! This property give you the chance to sleep far away the tourist area, completely into the nature.
This place is a hidden oasis but what makes it even better is the location. Payangan is fortunately not overcrowded Ubud, still have local spirit untouched by tourism and the people are incredible. It’s hard to put it in words but I was leaving Payangan with tears in my eyes <3
Breakfast was really fantastic. Dinner prices far too expensive and room was not much better than rooms at hotels under $100 a night. Service was amazing, staff were lovely. The water provided was the only water I liked the whole time we stayed in Bali.
Jungle location is very atmospheric, the hotel is beautiful snd well looked after, staff are very friendly and are always ready to help. The food at the hotel restaurant is superb. The hotel offers a verity of spa procedures and healing retreats
Nice place, perfect for a few day stay. Situated 20 min from Ubud by motor taxi. It is a calm place without TV and air conditioner but hotel staff provide with fan.
Nice pool. Situated not so far from Tegallalang Rise Terrace. Good wi-fi
The owners were incredible. Felt like home and I even extended for another night, 4 in total. Wayan teaches meditation with his whole heart and Emma makes a delicious breakfast. When I come back to Bali I am definitely coming here again
Everything in this villa was perfect, the house was clean, the views were amazing. Robi- the cook made us an amazing floating breakfast in the morning, Tari was superkind with us and the Balinesse massage in the evening was great.
The hotel has great views of the forest.
The restaurant has an amazing dinner menu, very tasty and well done.
The staff are incredibly helpful and care to your every need.
