Just a few minutes outside of Killarney city center, the guesthouse was away from the busy hustle and bustle, which we like. Free parking on-site. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from perfect directions to tips for dinner and things to do!
The bed was quite small for two of us and not super comfortable, but sufficient for a one-night stay. The room was rather spartanly-appointed, but again, sufficient for a one-night stay. I would not call it luxurious or even cozy by any means, but sufficient as a lodging place for the night.
The breakfast was very simple, serve yourself type foods like yogurt, fruit, and cereal. Basically a continental breakfast. The room had plenty of tables and was set up well.
The land just around the lodge is open and spacious for that area. I imagine having a small picnic table or swing or chairs or something would enhance the outside appeal as well. They do have a deck out back that we didn't sit out, but a nice space.
Great staff and I wish them well in continuing to upgrade and expand their guesthouse.
