This was a great find just at edge of Wicklow/Dublin counties and the start of Wicklow mountains and very close to Tallaght suburb of Dublin (easy 12 min drive in for dinner at the pub!) Hostess was amazing and communicative, and space was peaceful, quiet, economical, clean and comfortable. I didn't end up using the washing machine, but at the point I was at in my road trip I probably should have and appreciated it was there! Just a note that the common area is a shared space which I didn't 100% realize when booking, but which was no problem. It is more like a (secure) hotel room connected to a shared common space.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are exceptional, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, the food was amazing and the rooms are cosy and spacious. Unfortunately, there were some fire doors outside our room and they were really loud when they banged shut and kept us awake but except from that we had a great stay and were treated to complimentary treats upon arrival and champagne with our meal for our anniversary.

Beautiful first floor room in the farmhouse, gorgeous surrounds with an amazing view of the lake and mountains beyond. Bedroom, kitchen and lounge were very well fitted, better than many 5 star hotels I've stayed in whilst still being very comfortable.
