Lovely quite area, very short walk to the town. We had a most comfortable stay. The bed was really comfortable, the room was spacious, with water, teas, coffee all available in the room. We had use of the breakfast room to chill out if we wanted. Breakfast was so good, all our needs were catered, the coffee was spot on. We will for sure be back to stay again, all thanks to amazing hosts.

Bed and pillows very comfortable. Loved Iwe could make a cup of tea
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Great town with lots of pride and several fun cultural experiences. The Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitors Center was great. The Clonakilty Distillery is a great tour and tasting experience. The downtown is cute and walkable. The people are kind and it's central to many great communities nearby.

Fab little town, everything is so close together.
Fab little town, everything is so close together. Really wished we'd stayed longer & are already planning a return in the Summer. Didn't eat in any of the restaurants as we only ate in the hotel but the menus of many of the eateries looked great!

Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. If you get the weather there is no place to beat this part of Ireland.

Love the town.
Love the town. Lots of nice shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and little markets unique to the town and excellent just to browse around. Lots of little cafés, outdoor seating and well spaced public seats where one can sit and watch the world go by. The locals seem very friendly as do the staff in all the shops we visited. Seem to really take care of their visitors. Town is perfect to stroll around, very clean and brightly well decorated shops.
Public toilet centrally located but unfortunately required coins to operate. These days, many people do not carry coins anymore!
One way traffic system through the main street area - not too busy but could be nicer if pedestrianised.
The cottage was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was finished to a really high standard and it felt luxurious. The heated pool and terrace made it feel like we were abroad when the sun was out - it's a real sun trap! We loved the gardens too.
We liked that the property was close to Clonakilty and it was a great base to explore west Cork from. It felt like a little haven a few minutes away from the bustle of the town. Gerard and Anne were wonderful hosts and we are already looking forward to getting back to Ardnavaha!
Beautiful setting, with panoramic sea view. Excellent food, Very friendly staff. Comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a wonderful collection of contemporary art. The area is recommended for a rejuvenating break - walking, near Duneen and Inchydoney beaches for swimming, Clonakilty for heritage and shopping. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel.
Very friendly Hotel in very central location in Clonakilty. Staff and owner very good. 7th generation family hotel with good food. Ensuite room with balcony overlooking Spillers Lane. Owner has a sense of humour which is lost in some modern hotels. I would throughly recommend this Historic Hotel and look forward to staying there again. Parking nearby!
Denis (who ran the restaurant and bar) was outstanding: he even got up very early to open the breakfast room and provide food and drink to us and other guests who needed breakfast at 6:30 in the morning. He was also very helpful with local information. Location was central to the town, so everything was walkable. Parking (on the street) was nearby.
The pod was very clean and cosy, tastefully decorated with a really comfortable bed. The shower was excellent as was the location, less than 10 minutes drive from Clonakilty town.A good base for exploring that part of West Cork. The garden was lovely and peaceful. An outdoor table and seating meant you could enjoy the view .A very relaxing place.
Really loved how they have decorated the pods and the outside area, so cute! Great facilities in the pod, its more like a mini apartment with a little kitchenette and a good size private bathroom. Bed was comfy and there was a nice area to sit outside as well. Lovely warm welcome from the host too!
Yes it is a little dated decor wise but it’s extremely good value and the staff are beyond lovely and accommodating.
It is so well located to Clonakilty town centre and the outside deck bar is such a lovely spot in the nice weather. I would definitely stay again. Bar Food was really lovely also.
Clonakilty Park Hotel checks all the boxes for a family vacation with small kids. The facilities available for kids to play is fantastic, giving parents some time to enjoy the high-quality bar and restaurant. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with small children.
An absolute gem! Perfect location, very private yet super close to Clonakilty. Spotlessly clean. Very cosy. Sarah Jane was amazing and had all little touches throughout the property including a welcome package with local produce. We already can’t wait to come back and stay again!
only 5 mins from the centre, the house is beautiful and very tidy. homie and clean.
Bernie and Dermott are very friendly. we got stuck in the wedding’s hotel and Bernie collected us. it was very important to us. she didn’t need to do it but she did. we are very grateful!!
Enjoyed a lot our stay at Long Quay Apts. Great location, close to supermarket and town centre with shops and restaurants. Really comfortable for family with kids. The staff is exceptional, very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again and hopefully we will!
Nice, self-contained apartment. Short walking distance to the town centre. Lovely touches from the host, such as leaving milk, food, coffee, tea... Very comfy sofa in the kitchen area and nice, large smart TV. Bed was comfy and apartment was clean.
The Breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked. The proprietors' son was kind enough to bring me to the nearby Dunmore house hotel because I had been let down by Google maps. I had a very positive experience overall. I would highly recommend.
The Breakfast was great and the location was very good. Good location for exploring the West of Ireland. Not too far from Baltimore for Boat trips to the Islands. Our six year old enjoyed The model Railway Village in Clonakilty.
sleep and quietness, of the area was very good. My wife loved the gym it had all of the equipment that she uses. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional as it had everything that a person could ask for.
Thanks
We loved absolutely everything about our stay at the doggy friendly Emmet hotel. From the friendly staff to the delicious food and wonderful relaxing ambiance, it was completely perfect. Thank you
