The location was beautiful 😍 the views from the hotel were amazing. The weather was fabulous which made it even better. The room was so clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Small language barrier when ordering our dinner that evening but certainly wouldn't put me off going again. The town was just a short hilly walk but with the views it helped.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill. Beautiful views, fantastic cathedral, interesting Titanic Experience museum. Trips out to Spike Island although we didn’t have time to visit. Easy distance for Cork City and Blarney Castle which are both recommended.

I didn't realize that Cobh was so small and booked two nights there. In hindsight I should have just made it a day trip from Cork. I visited the Titanic Experience which was very informative. It is only about 45 minutes long so I recommend checking it out. There is a completely gluten free cafe there called Hoban's Treats, which was great for me as I am celiac. However, my kids also enjoyed their cake and cookies. I was only let down by two things. The boat trips to Spike island stop at around 2pm and I wasn't aware of that. Also, a number of restaurants were closed even though their sites and Google had them as open. It was difficult to find a place to have dinner that could cater for my dietary requirements.

What a spot. The most beautiful town, with a strong history. Locals are great people and the pubs a joy. The standard of music and musician's on show I can only put on a par with the city of Liverpool. Cobh is a jewel in Irelands crown

Great location, has beautiful restaurant with great terrace overlooking Cobh harbour. Food delicious and priced reasonably. Staff well trained, polite and attentive. Room was massive, more like a suite with two separate rooms of which smaller room had 2 single beds, while the main room had king size bed, convenient for families with kids .Nicely decorated as well. Big bathroom with separate massage bath and shower.Room no1 had a balcony which overlooks Cobh marina. Parking was located under the hotel which was included in the price.

Absolutely pleasure and unforgettable experience staying in this fabulous Victorian mansion. The spacious en-suite has an amazing view of Cobh harbour and is super clean. Quick and sufficient hot water in the bathroom. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, they helped us book a nice dinner and gave nice recommendations for things to do in town. Delicious breakfast with plenty of options and fresh juice, fruits and yogurt. This is so far my most pleasant stay in Ireland also world widely, would definitely recommend!!

A beautiful Victorian house set in gorgeous gardens and location; A leisurely 10-15 minute walk to the center of Cobh. Our host Ronnie, was very welcoming, helpful and informative of what to do and see locally. Our room was clean and inviting and the large bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was in the large conservatory with spectacular views, and was first class with a wide selection to choose from. I would definitely choose to stay at the Oakhurst again and will recommend to friends who may be visiting that area.

Pam’s welcome and care made this one of our favourite nights on our road trip. She made a reservation for us to eat out, chatted with us, made us tea and apple pie on arrival and cooked the best breakfast we had in Ireland with home made scones and soda bread. The room was large, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. The whole house is beautiful and so near to all you need in Cobh. We wanted to take this place and Pam with us everywhere we went!

We had both a continental and full breakfast choice. The continental offerings were more than adequate; smoked fish, meats, cheese, fruit, cereal. My wife had eggs which were cooked to order. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is a few minutes from downtown Cobh. The property is tightly packed with narrow views of the harbor. The BB is in a converted rectory which still shows in various rooms.

We had a lovely stay at WatersEdge Hotel. Our room was very comfortable and had a great view of the tug outside and the ships crossing the harbour, from the window. It was warm and cosy, with a very comfortable bed. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were well presented and delicious. parking was also provided, which is always a positive. Staff were friendly and helpful.

At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.

The staff were very friendly. The view was great. The bedroom was massive. The beds were so so comfortable. Car parking was useful but are car is low and hit the undercarriage as we entered and left. Menu at restaurant was typical of most hotels for diner and breakfast, not particularly Irish cuisine it used local produce.
