Lovely big room, very clean and well cared for. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner. Excellent tasty breakfast with wide choice. Beautiful view and gardens. Liked eating in the conservatory. Good amenities, with access to tea and coffee making facilities with loads of choice of different teas, iron, hairdryer and water. Highly recommend and in a lovely part of Ireland.

This is a great place for a couple who want to chill out or use it as a base to explore Ireland. The host really made us comfortable without intruding and we had everything and more that we needed. Simple things like condiments, bathroom basics and logs for the fire - all really useful things. We liked the isolated location and the log fire as well. It's basically a studio bungalow, for want of a better description - so perfect for a couple.

Very cosy and comfortable. Great facilities on offer, ideal for short and longer stays. Close to Mullingar but get the quiet night of the countryside. Would love to visit again.

Cosy place, lots of rooms and interesting parts of bar and restaurant. Breakfast ran til 11.30 which was just brilliant as it allowed for a proper time for a great chat over Breakfast

Kerrigans B&B is located in the heart of Mullingar over the Kerrigan's pub, less than 1 mile from the railway station and close to bus stops. It offers a snack bar and free Wi-Fi.
Collinstown is a lovely place! The Highfield House offered views of the Lough Lene, and the amazing green hills and valleys that just rolled on forever. Breakfast, full Irish as well as vegetarian, were offered. A short drive, offered options for a picnic lunch. A 10 minute drive to us to Delvin to a lovely pub (sorry I can't remember the name). The food and service were great.
Collinstown and surrounding areas were easy and safe to get around. Locals were friendly, and happy to offer directions and make suggestions.
Next time.....I will stay longer. I loved it. Thanks Yvonne and Paul.

We were here for a wedding in nearby Delvin, so didn’t have chance to explore much. However, the scenery is stunning and there is a local shop a few minutes walk away for any snacks/essentials that would be needed.
