Beautiful building, gorgeous property, large room that was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my decision to stay at Aran View Country House, and was especially pleased considering that I booked the room just the night before.

The property was immaculate and Sarah the host was so pleasant to deal with. Our room had a view of the ocean in the distance so that was a bonus. The place has a beautiful modern look to it and we look forward to going back there in the future. Highly recommend...

We booked the Mongolian Yurt as a group of 5 friends for 1 night only. I was perfect. 2 doublebeds and 1 single bed. The tent was very cosy and heated when we arrived. It had plenty of lights and well as enough plugs to charge our electronic devices. Towels as well as earplugs were provided because if its windy the tent can be a bit noisy but with the earplugs i had a great sleep. The bathrooms were just a few steps away from the tent. 2 Shower token each were provided additional could be purchases. It was very clean.
There was also a kitchen were tea and coffee was available. We got good tips about what to do in the area from the friendly owners/employees of the glamping. Location is good, next to one pub a few others maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Cliffs of moher a short drive away.

It was everything we needed ,expected and wanted. We loved how out and away we felt from everything (countryside) because its what we wanted by booking this in the first place. It was so quiet & Comfortable.
......although...my favourite part was pegleg penny ,the most scrumptious little muffin (Dog), who greeted us both mornings of our stay😌
Overall,

A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community.
Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops.
Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings.
Beside the sea and a ferry can take you to see the Aran Islands and the cliffs of Moher.
I can’t say enough good things about the Doolin Inn. I travelled with a group of friends and it was way beyond our expectations. The room was lovely and the bathroom really clean (great shower and nice toiletries in room). Staff were so friendly and the restaurant/bar had a lovely welcoming and homely feel to it. Location ideal. We had friends staying in several other hotels in Doolin the same weekend and they all commented on how they loved the place we were staying at. Would highly recommend and thanks again.
Outstanding B&B in all respects.
Purpose built, huge rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds. Incredible attention to detail, every possible need or want has been anticipated before you even think of it! Marion kindly made dinner reservations for us at the pub up the street so we didn't miss out on the music Doolin is famous for.
The breakfast is better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at. An extensive cold buffet plus a hot meal prepared to order from a large selection.
Truly exceptional B&B
The host Chris was very helpful and provided excellent recommendations of what to do Doolin such as the Burren scenic drive. The room was much bigger than expected, which included a bedroom and a living room. The stay was very clean and tidy, and was at an excellent location close to several restaurants and near the Cliff of Moher coastal trail. My friend and I had a concern and Chris jumped up with no hesitation to get our question resolved.
We stayed at the apartment for one night. Doolin is a small town with friendly people. The apartment is located at a 5 minute walking distance from the centre surrounded with field, farms and houses. Beautifully decorated apartment with free parking and picturesque surroundings. The apartment was well furnished, extremely comfortable and well stocked with a latest television, coffee, utensils and toiletries etc. Must stay here.
Our stay at Ballinalacken was exceptional. We were fortunate to have a chance to take a tour of the castle on the property and got some of the best views of Ireland as a result. The staff was warm and friendly and the room was comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing too! Transpiration to Doolin was easy with a taxi if you do not have a car.
Absolutely stay here if you are in the area.
The property is very well situated in Doolin almost right across the street from the bus stop (helpful if you are hiking Cliffs of Moher). The rooms are nice sized with a bathtub, air conditioning and various bed sizes. Another staple is their onsite restaurants, of which we only ate at Russell’s Seafood Bar (sensational food!) and their breakfast that’s in the room rate (also brilliant!).
The Aran View is a charming older hotel, well managed by Sharon and Laura who were very helpful to us and also very friendly. We had a large room, comfortable beds, breakfast was great with many choices and was served quickly. The hotel is just a minute or two by car from McGann's Pub and McDermott's is also close. O'Connor's is a few more minutes south. I would stay here again.
Breakfast was not offered, but the Doolin Cafe had a very fine breakfast and was just a 100 yards down the road. Dinner sites were just as convenient. The location worked very well for us to get in a couple short walks right there as well as giving us fine driving access to the Ferry and the Cliffs of Moher walk.
We had a great time staying at Doolin Farms. The host was so kind and helpful with restaurants and things to do in the area. Definitely would recommend if you want to stay near the Cliffs and experience more of the country side!
Fabulous property, really clean and just all round lovely. Vincent was so nice and SO accomodating. We were there for a wedding and he even dropped us into Hotel Doolin. Really lovely stay and would go there again in a heartbeat
Everything was wonderful from the initial greeting to the morning we drove away. Incredible location right in Doolin. You can walk everywhere. Great restaurants and pubs. Can't ask for a better spot to stay.
Everything was amazing. The location is beautiful, the host and facilities were outstanding. We had dinner in the Oar restaurant, what an amazing experience!!
We would definitely recommend this place.
The room was spacious and the location was great. About a 15 minute walk into Doolin but pubs, restaurants and coffee shop close by. Michael, the owner was pleasant and very helpful!!!
The location was right in Doolin and not far from the Cliffs of Moher. There were also several good pubs and restaurants nearby. Morning, breakfast was very nice.
so central in doolin I was attending a wedding at Hotel Doolin and it’s right across the road. very relaxing and the beds are exceptionally comfortable
