Dungarvan is a very nice town with a lovely Square and Pier area with nice Restaurants and Bars. Nice walks and Cycle area in and near the town. The town was easy to get around with not many hills. "The Local" bar served beautiful Sea Food Platters. Most of the people in Dungarvan were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good. Wide choice. Pleasant and attentive staff.
We also booked evening meal which was very good. Plenty of variety. A little bit of a delay in getting it but as to be expected and well worth the wait anyway. We only live in Tipperary and took this as a short one night stay to escape the confinement of lockdown. Had been to Dungarvan before several times but first time stopover.
Many thanks for your contribution to that experience.
Will definitely stay at the Hotel again
All the Staff (on arrival & at Breakfast), were very nice, friendly & welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable & shower was great. We stayed 1 night, but, Fridge was a Bonus for someone staying longer, if required. Great choice at Breakfast and loved getting it served to our table, hot & fresh from the Kitchen. We will definitely return to the Tannery when we stay in Dungarvan again.
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Dungarvan very much. The apartment was neat, roomy, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, as it was close to the city centre and easy to access. The host was kind, helpful, and quick to reply. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy and convenient place to stay in Dungarvan.
Thanks to Alex and all the team for a fabulous stay. Gorgeous room! Fab hotel, really lovely vibe to the entire place, couldn't recommend it enough. Loved all the eco friendly measures and the GHD hair dryer and make up mirror had me ready for the night out. Ideal location in the heart of dungarvan. We will 100% be back!
Very good location. Free car park at the rear - but very hard to get a space. Staff very friendly - especially the young staff on Breakfast duty. Breakfast was very fresh and even though it was busy, it came promptly - and with a smile. A great town to go exploring down side streets and lots of outdoor dining options.
Fantastic location with stunning views, wonderful space to relax, super comfortable beds, our hosts, Eileen and Paul were extremely helpful and friendly ensuring we had everything we needed. loved seeing the wild rabbits in the garden each morning. One of the best places we have ever stayed in.
Everything!
It’s clean, private, and comfortable. The host is the best. We had the best breakfast, really gourmet. The bed is super comfy, and the shower is hot.
We enjoyed walking to town for dinner.
We will return to No. 12 for sure, and recommend a stay at No. 12 without hesitation.
We spent two nights at Follies Suites and loved the gorgeous sea view. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Nicely decorated and had a large bath. Catherine was so nice and kindly made us pasta for dinner as we arrived late and we were exhausted from driving.
Definitely one of my favourite places to stay in Dungarvan! I'll have to make sure I book here next time I come to visit family in Ireland 🇮🇪 Beautiful part of town, close walk to all shops, cafés and pubs.
Lovely and quiet room in front of the ocean.
Catherine provided a very warm welcome and the breakfast was amazing!
Best Irish scones I have ever tried.
Few minutes by car to Dungarvan. Worth visit!
The house is located in an amazing place, very beautiful, we had fantastic breakfast, clean and comfy rooms, place deserves award as the best family house not only in Ireland (that it has since 1999)
Everything was what you would expect from a good B and B. The owners were very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our tour of Ireland.
The cottage was cosy, warm and comfortable. It was very close to Clonea Strand and was so peaceful. Plenty of parking space and very relaxed feel about the place.
