Location is a little out of town, one of the reasons we chose to book here. The room it’s was large, clean and well appointed. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. Plenty of parking available. There is a gym, pool and spa on-site but we didn’t use.
Stylish, spacious rooms, landscaped gardens, and an à la carte restaurant are offered at this 4-star hotel. Less than 5 minutes’ drive from Cork’s centre.

The pool was great. I had young kids and definitely helped entertain them. The grounds around the hotel were also great for the kids to run around, there was little areas on grass at the front side with benches. And the food was amazing everything we order over 3 nights we were so pleased with and breakfast Also beautiful although it was €17.95 for a full breakfast. Dearest I’ve ever paid for a breakfast.
Beautiful grounds, lovely tree lined entrance. Lovely garden and a fairy Walk. Fabulous Spa facilities with lovely treatments. Beautiful spacious bedroom with lovely big bathroom. Lovely comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely food. Great breakfast. The Staff were great.

Fota Island resort never fails to deliver on relaxation and is a wonderful place for a getaway break. We've been back to this hotel on many occasions, and it will continue to be our 'go to' place.
It has so much to offer from golf to spa retreats to an excellent location as a base for sightseeing trips.
The staff have always been so kind and welcoming which adds to the air of quiet elegance which we associate with Fota!
The hotel and facilities are well maintained, and rooms are fresh and comfortable (never worn or dated!).

Highlight for my granddaughter was the swimming pool.
Highlight for my granddaughter was the swimming pool. She wasn't allowed into the pool at the time we had booked. The booking was made at check-in where the receptionist was aware that my granddaughter was 13 years old. We returned from Cobh early to avail of our swimming appointment and were then turned away.
The receptionist at the Spa was quite rude and when I asked him what was available in the Spa told me to look it up myself online..
