When we arrived we were completely overwhelmed by the House and Gardens. Our room was large and had a lovely view of the sea and gardens. The restaurant served Thai food for diner which we both love.
If you like tree ferns and ferns the gardens are spectacular, running up a valley with streams and waterfalls. There are hundreds of tree ferns with areas for children to play.

This is a lovely peaceful spot and the gardens are really special. It’s a little out of the way so you definitely need a car. Everything about the accommodation was top quality. A wonderful location.
A wonderful location. We stayed in the 'garden room' which was amazing. We arrived during a heat wave and I'm presuming it's because it was an old house, but it was our first night sleeping in a cool room. If u arrive during colder weather there is a stove in the room which I presume can be lit. We had dinner and breakfast in the adjacent restaurant and I would rate it as 10 out 10.

A beautiful little quiet nook on the western end of the Ring of Kerry. I would love to see the village have a little coffee place or bar/lounge for people to enjoy the lovely setting and views from there.

Kells was only a stop over on our way to Dingle so my expectations were not up to much. However, I absolutely loved Kells, the scenery when driving towards the bay was fantastic. The bay was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Wish I had time to stay in Kells for a few days, will definitely return. The local pub did good food and live music. Another town worth staying in would be 'Adair,' full of charming thatched cottages ( on route to Dingle).LynnUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Could not have been happier with this absolute gem in Kerry, The staff and owners were so nice and very helpful. The grounds were very well maintained with an element of pure peace, counting down the days on my return!

When we arrived, we had not eaten, and she suggested a delicious Thai restaurant just a few minutes walk from her house. The flora on her property, and throughout the neighborhood, is stunning. We even saw a waterfall on our short stroll. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning, Victoria served a lovely continental breakfast that included a treat from her pastry-chef sister. We then had a short 30-minute drive to catch our boat to Skellig Michael.

It was also a great way to break up the Ring of Kerry Drive--I left from Kenmare in the morning and drove the ring clockwise, visiting sites and hillwalking along the way. It was nice to be able to spend a long day "doing the Ring" and be able to spend the night at Kells Bay, rather than going back to Killarney/Kenmare. The gardens are glorious and the rope bridge is fun to walk across.

The accommodation is carefully designed, the room elegant and comfortable. We were very well received and looked after. The Thai restaurant with its intimate setting is excellent, everything is homemade. The breakfast is also copious and qualitative. Ideal destination for a couple (but also for family with children).
