Burton Hall - Pauline, hotel in Kilkea

Burton Hall - Pauline in Carlow provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This homestay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen.

Such a lovely place, a lovely vibe and the most lovely landlady! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we even had a private roof terrace from our 3-beds-room. Pauline was wonderful, and so were the facilities. It’s only a short drive from Carlow Town but it’s on quiet country road with lots of privacy, it felt very welcoming and homely, we really could relax We would absolutely stay again, when in the area, thank you so much for the hospitality!

I loved the food, especially the fine dining at the castle. The atmosphere was amazing, great bar with a range of good cocktails, very friendly and welcoming place. The room was lovely and had an excellent shower. The breakfasts were amazing. They catered to my dietary requirements of being both vegan and gluten free.

Lovely warm and cosy castle hotel, friendly staff, excellent reception staff and very enjoyable dinner and breakfast in 1180 room. Bar prices very high and glass of wine with dinner was way overpriced at 20euro for half glass wine. Lovely room, fab shower but dusting behind TV needs to be attended to.

    Our stay was magical.

Our stay was magical. We originally booked a carriage room but did a bit more we had to stay in the actual castle. It was amazing. The grounds are stunning and sit on a golf course. The Castle was in amazing condition and the feels so warm and comforting. The bar has a nice vibe and the lounge has a raging fire at night. Breakfast was off the hook and hosted in 2 beautiful rooms. Ended up playing a round for only $60. Enjoy
