From the minute I walked into Ivy Lane, I felt pure bliss. It's a haven of peace. The decor is lovely and so relaxing. I love the Buddha and little garden outside the kitchen window, it adds to the serenity of the place. A lovely fresh scone with jam waiting for me for my cuppa when I arrived. I brought my own tea bags and coffee and milk.I had a great night's sleep in a super comfortable bed. The shower is brilliant. Anna is a kind-hearted person who makes sure that your stay is warm and comfortable. She provided a hairdryer as I forgot my own.The house is super clean and inviting. It's central if you want to see Gweedore or Dungloe and surrounding areas. There is a great petrol station and shop close by. I am so looking forward to going back.Thank you, Anna, and your mum for making my stay so wonderful.

Only stayed one night but it was fabulous. Really can't fault the Waterfront at all. Beautiful location, wonderful staff and probably the best breakfast I've ever had in any hotel...ever. Will definitely be back. 5 stars.

This house was actually well situated to see much of Donegal...
This house was actually well situated to see much of Donegal. It served as a nice base to travel to Ardara, Glenveagh and down to Donegal town. It was well fitted with beds and space, and served us well as we spent most of our time away from the house. However, evenings were nice with a proper dining room table for games and a fire for conversation.
